Wing (military unit)
→Equivalents in other languages: Soviet / Russian air regiment is NOT wing equivalent. It only includes aviation units. While a wing also includes ground-based combat support and combat service support units, in Russia those are separate from the air regiment and part of the higher echelon - the air division.Tags: RevertedVisual edit

16th Mechanised Division (Poland)
The MInister of Defence's speech in Białystok says nothing of the sort. On the contrary. He didn't say that the 1st Legionary Infantry Division will be formed by merging the 16th and 18th Mech Divs, but that it will be deployed geographically between them. Literally the next paragraph says "To piąty związek taktyczny w Wojsku Polskim, w siłach lądowych Wojska Polskiego" ("This fifth tactical formation [HQ]" of the Land Forces...), meaning fifth after 11th, 12th, 16th and 18th divisions.Tags: Manual revertVisual edit
