Haven't had a chance to read the referenced book, but the discussion page about the Sciri on the German wiki mentions that their supposed homeland in the area is nowhere to be found in the sources ( https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diskussion:Skiren ). Copied some paragraphs from "Prussia (region)" article (history of editions there: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Prussia_(region)&action=history ) and mentioned two important archeological sites for more complete overview.
