→Colonial era: Removing silly tag motivated by hatred and anti-Serer sentimens (the only reason for adding the tag there was because of ref to a Serer King, not because of Lat Dior, so sad). Read the article about the battle & you will know what the battle was about. Please do not bring tribalism and religious hatred on Wiki. Also, it is the Kingdom of Jolof, not the empire which ceased to exist in the 16th century. Addeed refs

→Ethnic groups: Fixed disingenuous ref for Senegal's ethnic demographics. Instead of using CIA World Factbook for Senegal, they used Gambia instead. Deleting frivolous stuff. We don't need the life stories of non-native Immigrants - I.e., where they live, tel no., how many homes they purchased and where, & what they do for living. Look it up in their Yellow Pages if you want to know.

Kilab ibn Murrah
→Biography: Bold claims need big sources. Show RS that claims he descent from Ishmael. Articles relating to Muhammad's ancestors and genealogy needs expert opinion. Several articles have been created with no sources and citation tags have remained for several years and they are still in article space which under normal circumstances would have been deleted. For a huge bundle of text, the entire bio section have only one source.

We try not to use the term "pagan" or "kafir" (or similar terms) to describe African spirituality. They deserve respect too. These are pejorative terms. Removed Category:Toucouleur. This article is not specifically about the Toucouleur

Saltigue
Not for us to decide originator, and SYNTH is not allowed on Wiki. We also go by weight and neutrality, and not pass judgement or aspersions on other ethnic groups with terms like their "folk etymology." We report on what the sources say neutrally. We also do not bold texts in the body of the article . Attributing claims to Oumar Kane. Always knew Fula Silatigis as chiefs. 1st time seeing them referred to as spiritual leaders. Sorted bibliography. Surprised info about Saltigue Laba deleted!
