What's going on with the first round results? They've been stuck at 99.13% counted for weeks now, even though the second round if fully counted. Same with the legislative election. Aréat (talk) 14:30, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've noticed a few countries have this issue. The electoral commission website stops updating at around 99.5% or something, and then we have to wait weeks/months for the formal results to be released... Number57 13:40, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's been 6 months now and still no update on the first round results. Strangely, the Spanish version of this article has different numbers than we do, but they cite the same source, which disagrees with their numbers. Perhaps the final results have been posted somewhere else? Nosferattus (talk) 18:15, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@FlyingAce: You might be the only person on this talk page that actually reads Spanish. Can you help? Nosferattus (talk) 18:35, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Nosferattus: I've been keeping tabs on this article, I can read Spanish. Page 2 says "Article 1: Declaring the validity of the Election for President and Vice President of the Republic, realized on 25 June 2023, conforms that the obtained results as follows are: [table of the results of the first round]". TLDR for Article 2 says that Torres and Arévalo will move on to the second round and Article 3 says that "The present accord will immediately come into force and should be published the official press" signed 12 July 2023 by the TSE's magistrates. I went ahead and updated the table on the article with the information on pages 2 and 3. PizzaKing13¡Hablame! 18:52, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Late to the party, but yes, those are the official results for the first round. Thanks for updating the article! –FlyingAce✈hello 04:48, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The protests have gotten pretty out of hand recently, so I think it'd be smart to move them to their own page, especially as things continue to escalate. The country has pretty much been shut down by this; it's a pretty big deal River10000 (talk) 14:21, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. In Spanish there is a separate article for the events that have occurred after the election (es:Crisis pos-electoral en Guatemala de 2023) that I've been meaning to flesh out as it does not cover the latest protests; perhaps the same should be done here. –FlyingAce✈hello 15:41, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's a great idea; have you thought about just translating the page over to English to at least give a framework to work with? River10000 (talk) 14:50, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
