The last update on Arbella Perkins Ewing was last year, placing her on the top ten list is inaccurate, because she may have passed away six months ago, but, hopefully, she is still living and in great health. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.136.237.89 (talk) 22:53, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Don't make comments if you don't know what you're talking about. The SSDI updates once a month, so it is highly unlikely that Ms. Ewing passed away 'six months ago'... Ryoung12221:43, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It has been almost nine-and-a-half months, Seroiusly, this is getting rediculous, we do not even know if she made it in the top 11 oldest people living or if she outlived Myra Nicholson (12/14/1894-9/20/2007) 112 years, 280 days the most previous 11th oldest person in the world. Can someone provide the status of her? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.137.12.208 (talk) 21:54, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
95% of all deaths in the USA appear in the SSDI. Note that the last update was Dec 14 2006, so it's been less than a year. Clearly, the family doesn't want to be bothered. Consider a few other cases: Edna Parker (mentioned at age 109; no 110th or 111th birthday story; resurfaced at 112) and Gladys Hawley (109th birthday story; no 110th birthday story; resurfaced at 111).
