Why is this template here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.246.16 (talk) 15:52, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Could someone please put an image of Mr. Bill Farmer on here. Thanks. -Dpm12 November 17, 2010 at 8:30 AM PST.
In this edit I removed a large amount of unsourced, non-notable "additional voices" roles from the article on the basis that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. This is policy. We are not IMDb, which is where this trivial content presumably belongs. There is a link at the bottom of the article to his IMDb page, where interested readers can learn more. Our duty here is to present a general overview of a subject, not to catalog every aspect of the person's life. And, again, it was all unsourced anyway. Please note that per WP:BURDEN, which is Wikipedia policy, the onus would be on anyone restoring the content to find reliable sources, but per WP:V, Verifiability does not guarantee inclusion

And you right, and I apologize. FrozenFan2 (talk) 12:55, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
I'll make my experience a little better here on the site, I'm sorry Cyphoidbomb. FrozenFan2 (talk) 13:04, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
I should state that "additional voices" doesn't automatically equate to "non-notable role".Without any community policy contrary to WP:INDISCRIMINATE, or more likely, a local Biog/Film/TV guideline that supercedes the existing policy, I could as simply counter-argue "yes it does" and re-point to my "We are not IMDb" argument. If the roles are significant, there would presumably be names and context, and I neither see anywhere in MOS:TV or MOS:FILM that gives weight to the inclusion of "Additional voices" nor do I notice any guideline that suggests we are here to catalog every role a subject has performed. In my experience, the people who tend to be most gung-ho about these inclusions are fans who mistakenly think Wikipedia should be a mirror for IMDb. We are supposed to summarize the most notable aspects of notable subjects. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:01, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
I've been looking at the history of edits on this page, and I notice an IP user was adding unsourced roles in the article. Is this the best time if we should lock/protect the page so no edit war won't happen?, and so the IP user won't keep on vandalizing the page over and over? FrozenFan2 (talk) 23:15, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
That's good. FrozenFan2 (talk) 03:44, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Since we already know he did some live-action acting work in the 80's and 90's, RoboCop and Pumpkin Man. Should we add "Actor" in his occupation section in the info box? even though he hasn't done live-action acting work on screen for decades now, and he mostly does voice acting work. Should we add that, or maybe it's not important at all. FrozenFan2 (talk) 02:53, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Ok, just asking. FrozenFan2 (talk) 12:13, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Really!?!, I thought my question wasn't that great. But I guess it is a good question though. FrozenFan2 (talk) 17:47, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
We need to be vigilant about the inclusion of unsourced and trivial content in this article. There has been an IP-hopping vandal who continues to submit trivial and likely hoax content to this article, like here or here or here. The nature of these additions, non-notable roles like Soldier #3, Bug #3 is problematic because verification is difficult. I think we should revert unsourced content on sight, not just from IPs, and we should focus on notable roles. Wikipedia is not IMDb. The behavior is reminiscent of LTA "Voice Cast Vandal". If you can do me a favor and stop following me and please stop getting on my case please, it's really driving me nuts already. Your really starting to get on my nerves now. FrozenFan2 (talk) 02:33, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Sigh...., you are hard to get along with sometimes when you say lies like this to other users.... FrozenFan2 (talk) 03:05, 17 July 2015 (UTC)

Leave him alone!, he does not deserve this. We have every right to fix mistakes in articles! 71.232.184.131 (talk) 21:48, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
But there is some incorrect information on the site that needs to be fixed. 71.232.184.131 (talk) 22:19, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Those games are missing in his filmography, he voiced Goofy in those games. in the articles Wayne Allwine, Russi Taylor and Tony Anselmo they are credited in those games according to there filmography section and Bill Farmer is the only article that's missing those games, even Behind the Voice Actors.com say's he was in those games and voiced Goofy in them. Even admin Cyphoidbomb says we only stick with his notable roles credits he was in, not just addtional voices. So farther more, those games are still notable. And Goofy "IS" in those games too. So shouldn't we leave them in there in the filmography game section? Because he did do Goofy's voice in those games. 73.234.94.89 (talk) 23:19, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
But he did voice Goofy in those games. 73.234.94.89 (talk) 23:26, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Since we already know he's married and has one kid named Austin as well. Should there be a Personal life section about his wife and his son as well, I've been looking at different articles of "actors" and "actresses" and they all have a Personal life section in the article. Should we add one for this article? 71.232.184.131 (talk) 22:38, 29 August 2015 (UTC) 71.232.184.131 (talk) 22:38, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
I just noticed a mistake down below the filmography section. The Spirit of Mickey and Wack Adventures of Ronald McDonald info are listed in the wrong section, they are not television shows. They are direct-to-video movies, if someone can do me a favor and help fix this mistake please. 2600:1000:B077:3537:15E8:AECB:3449:B3FB (talk) 00:07, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

There "IS" actual proof that Farner voiced Pluto in Roster Racers. He's listed in the credits of the show and there's more info online. 2600:1000:B07E:CDFA:DDAA:4D29:A321:8FA0 (talk) 15:04, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Bill Farmer was in the 2016 film Sing, as the voice of the News Reporter Dog, Bob. It needs to be added.
