A "boner" is a kind of kitchen knife. It's not even slang.
A "boner" is also slang for "a difficult question". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.124.116.101 (talk) 09:15, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

is the same as the one here. All three parts are covered. Ironic I think. But anyway. I say we try to clean up the page and follow the history of the word instead of limiting ourselves to its definition.
I included a reference to a book called "The Humor of Humor" written by Evan Esar. I don't know why it was deleted, but hey. What do I know? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.222.111.21 (talk) 03:12, 19 January 2005 (UTC)
What is the definition of boner in the context of this Batman comic book? See: [1].

That crap wouldn't fly on ED.72.44.13.220 (talk) 03:01, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Aren't boner and ED mutually exclusive? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.180.240.253 (talk) 06:18, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

I added "extreme interest in a person thing or idea" to the slang section because of statements like:
"Americans have a boner for tax cuts" or "I used to have a boner for noisy garage bands" etc. etc... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Comrade Sephiroth (talk • contribs) 08:29, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
