Following explanation for border-adjustment tax, it might be useful to include an example about how such taxes may be used: The use of border-adjustment tax has been proposed as a tool for creating climate legislation.[1] Specifically, such legislation could entail movements imposing a border taxes or requiring importers to give up a specific amount of carbon permits.[2]
