Although introduced on the former South Central division of Network SouthEast, the Class 456s had been ordered for use on the South West Division for services out of London Waterloo. Failure to introduce DOO (Driver Only Operation) meant they were redeployed upon service entry.

I am not sufficiently confident of my facts to edit the page itself - but re the livery of the trains, aside from Sir Cosmo Bonsor, I have not seen any one of these trains in anything other than Network South East livery.
I change the image as the last one did not show the current livery. Likelife (talk) 14:10, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

I feel that the Class 456's withdrawal details should be included. The My London article that is frequently being cited doesn't necessarily imply that the 456 fleet will be withdrawn on 17 January 2022, but it does read:
I originally misinterpreted the article, and I wouldn't be too surprised if other people misinterpreted it as well. However, I still think they should be included, as the excerpt I provided appears to be from a South Western Railway spokesperson. XtraJovial (talk) 00:18, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
