Snake expert wanted...[edit]

Over on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_domesticated_animals , there are several snakes listed, including this one. I recently did some edits (removing snakes that did not belong), and I would like someone to check and make sure I didn't screw things up (eg leave a picture referring to one of the snakes I deleted). Thanks. Tamtrible (talk) 19:02, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues[edit]

Sometimes incremental editing has an adverse affect on quality. This is a fairly nice article with some issues that hinder being qualified as a B-class article. Criteria #1 states: The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations. It has reliable sources, and any important or controversial material which is likely to be challenged is cited. Not only are there several [citation needed] tags (2021, 2022, and 2023) but from the "Variations" section to the end of the article there are no sources.
The lead section is too short to give an accurate "introduction to an article and a summary of its most important contents."

External links

Some things just grow overtime. The "External links" section, one of the optional appendices, has eleven entries. Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four links.
The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
Some of the current links include ones that are not needed giving no benefit to the article, can be included in the article with sources, and should be trimmed accordingly. -- Otr500 (talk) 14:40, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
