Dunki is mostly receiving positive reviews apart from only those who are spreading negativity on social media. So please change mixed reviews reception to positive receptio. 103.215.237.106 (talk) 08:24, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The box office figures are being manipulated by editor Tousif.15 who is completely biased and not providing authentic independent source for the actual figures. I request to permanently ban that editor as he/she is a disgrace to the community and his efforts to write fake numbers are only hurting the transparency of this platform. Thank you VarunKumar35 (talk)
Note: Although Pinkvilla is generally considered a reliable source, the link you provided leads to a database with a disclaimer suggesting potential inaccuracies. Hence, I don't believe it should be deemed reliable. Moreover, the current source cited in the article for the budget is also from Pinkvilla but states a different budget amount. – DreamRimmer (talk) 06:49, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, now that you're talking about disclaimer i guess you didn't know that the source which is considered the "most reliable" for Indian movies bo amongst almost all Wiki editors/admins is BollywoodHungama and they use that disclaimer in every single movie's box office update page. So, as per the logic you are applying here no source is credible. VarunKumar35 (talk) 06:55, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But it happens for Bollywood films on Wikipedia all the time. Check for instance the main source of Box office section for Dunki (film) provided :BollywoodHungama. And click that link to see their disclaimer at the bottom of BO figures. VarunKumar35 (talk) 07:14, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
'Change It received mixed reviews to It received mixed to positive reviews'. You can see yourself it has these reviews in the Dunki Wikipedia page. Movie like Salaar on Wikipedia says mixed to positive reviews. And Dunki has more positive reviews and it's not fair it says mixed reviews unless you being biased Shaks3 (talk) 10:46, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dunki which has higher ratings like 4/5 from critics on here and Salaar has less. And you lot say Salaar has mixed to positive reviews. And for Dunki it's mixed reviews. Showing your bias. Can you be fair and update it as Dunki got good reviews better then your Salaar. Maybe you been paid alot that's why not changing or not letting no one. Check out the reviews yourself on your own page. Mainly positive reviews. And compare to Salaar it has more positive reviews and you allowed Salaar to be mixed to positive reviews. Clearly biased. Even internationally Dunki has got positive reviews.
Tushar Joshi of India Today gave 4/5 stars and wrote "Dunki might not be Hirani's best work in comparison to 3 Idiots or PK, but it still entertains and leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling". Sreeparna Sengupta of The Times of India also gave 4/5 stars and wrote, "Dunki's story is an emotional one - rolling in friendship, romance, heart-wrenching and heart-warming moments all into one. And in trademark Hirani style, there are dollops of comedy which is laced with satire to make it an entertaining ride, along with the strong message the film brings forth". A reviewer for Pinkvilla considered it "a modern-day classic", but was critical of the film's pace. A reviewer from Bollywood Hungama awarded the film 3.5/5 stars and wrote "Dunki bears the Rajkumar Hirani stamp of filmmaking with the right message and emotions as a backdrop. However, it is not as outstanding as his previous films as the writing plays spoilsport to a great extent." Filmfare's Devesh Sharma was pleased by the film's messaging of "a world beyond borders", and praised the performances of Khan and Pannu. Monika Rawal Kukreja of Hindustan Times labelled it a "heartwarming tale that's high on emotions", but despite praising the performances of Khan and Pannu, she was displeased with their chemistry.
Internationally, Manjusha Radhakrishnan of Gulf News rated the film 4/5 and wrote "Illegal immigration and unauthorised cross-border migrant crossings are grim issues, but director Rajkumar Hirani humanized them with an emotionally engaging tale". David Tusing of The National wrote "With Dunki, Khan takes on a poignant immigration tale with a whole lot of heart that's bound to strike a chord with audiences".film.
