I'd like to replace the Environmental technology template with one that matches the standard navbox style, i.e. horizontal instead of vertical, collapsing and typically placed at the bottom of article pages. I've done a mock up of what this would look like at ((User:Jwanders/ET)). Figured this was a big enough change that I should post before going ahead with it. Please discuss here--jwandersTalk 22:03, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
I propose merging Analog forestry and Close to nature forestry and Ecoforestry and Mycoforestry as they are quite small and seem to overlap. Is this a good idea and if so which article should I merge to? Chidgk1 (talk) 09:52, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for doing the merger of Analog forestry and Close to nature forestry into Ecoforestry, User:Chidgk1. What's planned for the post-merge tidying work? The structure needs to be revamped (use of standard main level headings). Do we need a section on terminology to describe similar terms, i.e. are "Analog forestry" and "Close to nature forestry" simply synonyms of Ecoforestry (if so, should they be mentioned in the first sentence in bold?)?
And the first sentence of the article needs word. It's currently this which is rather meaningless: "Ecoforestry has been defined as selection forestry or restoration forestry." EMsmile (talk) 09:17, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
