Electrical safety comprises issues such as fire hazards and arc flash outside of electrical shock. Perhaps an article on electrical safety in general is needed.Ccrrccrr (talk) 23:06, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm looking at writing an article on electrical safety testing for medical equipment. Does anyone have any issues with that being part of the current article, since there will be many similarities between the two? 8 August 2013 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nerobot (talk • contribs) 08:16, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

The term "competent person" is used but not defined; a reader might interpret it too loosely. I will not describe it myself, as my knowledge of world-wide practice is insufficient.
For an example, see

I propose merging MOP (electrical safety), MOOP (electrical safety) and MOPP (electrical safety) into Electrical safety testing. I think the contents do not warrant stand-alone articles, and can be explained in the context of Electrical safety testing, and a merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in Electrical safety testing. @NoJoshua: notifying page creator.
