Comment It appears very likely that this IP is a sockpuppet of User:Gweilo60, who is currently blocked. 162 etc. (talk) 16:59, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support. Jiangxi is a province or state, maybe it is too large to put it here. While Jiujiang is a much smaller city that can give a better indication of where the Guling town is located. Also administration of Guling town belongs to Jiujiang, I think Jiujiang can better show the location and administrative area of Guling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.127.242.90 (talk • contribs)
Comment: Very likely IP hopping to sway consensus, per User:162 etc.. Silikonz💬 01:45, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
can you explain more about the specific reaons? For example, which one is out of compliance? and this can be shown to other editors, instead of being told it's not up to code and it's over? This is the place to talk, right? 206.119.61.75 (talk) 02:30, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support. The current title is violating WP:NCCHINA. WP:NCCHINA has specific rule regards this, it says "If the name is not unique within the province, disambiguate: A) By the prefecture-level city if the parent division is a district. B) By the county-level city, county, or banner otherwise. Guling is not unique within the province, and it needs to be disambigated by by the prefecture-level city. Clearly Jiangxi is not that city. I strongly suggest to chang e the current title to meet WIKIpedia requirement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.201.87.62 (talk) 03:41, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please inform which other Guling exists in Jiangxi, and back it up with RS? The same editor asked me to prematurely close this RM. I strongly suspect sock. Silikonz💬 04:21, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Postcode shows 江西省赣州市安远县孔田镇古岭村, there is another Guling in Ganzhou.
That Guling does not have an article. Disambiguation in titles doesn't cover such scenarios. It is purely for distinguishing already existing topics. Silikonz (alt)💬 13:00, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What does it even mean? There are multiple Gulings exist in Jiangxi. 14.201.87.62 (talk) 13:06, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
whatever you think, I think you should follow the rule. Thank you. The current name doesn't meet Wikipedia's naming requirement. 14.201.87.62 (talk) 13:38, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
