This is not in the sources close to hand. Will retrieve the main source (Austin, 1924) from my local library early next week to check this.
Strangely, I cannot find where I got Fulton's nickname. I have deleted it for the time being. Zawed (talk) 05:23, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
In the lead
Early life
I hadn't realised it wasn't covered by cite 1 - the stuff about his father was inserted later in the writing of this article. I think the cite for location will come from Austin so will check this.
Yes, as I suspected this fact came from Austin. Now cited. Zawed (talk) 05:23, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Military career
Boer War
First World War
I think it was the only infantry battalion of the SEF, but will check this.
It was a composite infantry battalion, the only infantry that was part of the SEF. Have changed to refer to "the infantry battalion". Zawed (talk) 05:23, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Senussi Campaign
It became the NZ Rifle Brigade (with the addition of two more battalions).
Have also abbreviated to NZRB; in some places, I refer to "the brigade" to avoid close repetition of NZRB.
The battalions were numbered. I have chosen not to recite the full name.
Western Front
Not sure what you meant here as link is to French name; I have italicised?
Actually, I think I figured out what you may have meant; have linked to the French award for WWI. Zawed (talk) 04:52, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Notes
Suggestion
Have added one for his promotion to lieutenant in 1894.
This is a really good article, well done, just some very minor points. Happy to discuss any changes. Jim Sweeney (talk) 10:05, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the comprehensive review Jim. I have addressed most of your points, commented on a couple of others and there are a couple more for which I need to get a book out of my local library for confirmation. I'll do this on Monday/Tuesday. Zawed (talk) 20:07, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Jim, I have responded to all your points now. Let me know if there are

any other issues. Zawed (talk) 05:23, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
