Yeah, this looks definitely different than the deleted version. --Haemo 03:40, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Keep it. It is a notable band and the page is even well referenced.--E tac 09:19, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This original article written in May of 2007 by DantheCowMan had many incorrect statements, and falsehoods that were second hand versions and heresy concerning the story of my personal life and biography so I set the record straight being the artist himself. My book / biography on The Joshua Band will be coming out in 18 months which will clarify these facts & truth as my entire life is well documented in my autobiography. My changes must stand for legal reasons. --User:Joshua Perahia 01:38, 22 Dec 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.189.230.82 (talk)

rewrites[edit]

Hey everybody,

I'm going to try to do the "close connection with the subject" clean-up. According to that page, "if you place this tag, you should promptly start a discussion on the article's talk page to explain what is non-neutral about the article." It doesn't look like that happened here, but it's clear there are some problems with this sounding like promotional lit for the band. I will try to delete those passages and remove the warning. FloridaSammi (talk) 15:11, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I think I'm done with cleanup here. What's left seems to be fairly neutral. The only spot I think is iffy is the pull quote about "best [superspecific subgenre] metal album ever]", but it's probably a legit quote, and I don't think it's likely I can find negative reviews from the '80s to balance it. Still, I don't think that one quotation is worth putting a warning on the whole article for. It can just be deleted if necessary.

Just let me know if I did wrong in any of this. I'm still newish here, but trying to be bold! FloridaSammi (talk) 15:31, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
