Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

@Perlaal: You WP:BOLDly made a massive modification to this article. I'm not sure the net result is desirable. I can understand the desire to make it look neater, and it sure is really long otherwise (us Jews are quite sporting, as it turns out.) But there are a couple of problems. First of all, the table of contents is now useless -- you can't just glance at it and jump to a section, but instead you have to scroll down the whole page to find the section, which isn't helpful. Secondly, if you "show" the sections, at the top of each one it says Source all entries with references, please, which there's no reason whatsoever for the regular reader to have to see. I'm not reverting, but let's discuss. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 21:18, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sooo sorry. I had not noticed a table of contents, because that just happened to be the isssue I had, scrolling down and all. I'm guessing we need to find a sort of happy medium. Perlaal (talk) 21:47, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No sorry necessary! It's a good idea; the page is unwieldy as heck. You'll need to put section titles in each section you just created to get the TOC back. If it were me, I'd have done this with a script of some sort, so now I'd roll back, change the script to add the section titles, and run the script again. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 23:32, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Good call! Thank you jp... You know what, I had not considered mobile when I made the edit haha, I see now! I had attempted a script in the beginning, but it seemed I needed to do a lot of adding of the names in parameters. I won't mind if someone came around and got that done. You should never use Religion to discriminate even in sports. Why does this list exist. This is not uniform for a yellow star even on a flag. Stop these people subjecting their religious persecution on others in a double standard like it is alright for them but not others. The Race theory is also tied to religions. 199.30.127.207 (talk) 12:29, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
