New Numbers (March 2008) for Market Share is available! Just take a look here! :
[1]
-ama-
I don't think market share and economic performance tables should belong to the article. If they should, why not spelling out the numbers for all the Indian airlines rather than doing so for just four of them, which are the biggest ones by the way? I suspect the numbers for the rest are hard to get and that's the reason for their absence...--Jetstreamer (talk) 04:29, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Although I had updated the Financial info, but I agree with Jetstreamer that, both Market Share and Economic Performance tables can be done away with. If we decide to leave it there, I will make sure it is updated on regular basis. Your thoughts please. Cheers AKS (talk) 06:36, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Dont think market share and revenue stuff really belong on this list article and would be better suited to Transport in India, although only having four airlines could be seen as presenting a non-neutral view. MilborneOne (talk) 12:45, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi MilborneOne, so we may want to delete both in that case. However, my opinion is that keeping this info will provide helpful insight to the reader who otherwise will have to navigate through scores of webpages to gather this information. What do you say? AKS (talk) 13:17, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm an editor who works on aviation articles and I agree with Jetstreamer and Milborne One, the financial section doesn't belong on this page....William 17:40, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article has lately witnessed the addition of a few Non-Scheduled Operators/ Charter companies to the list of airlines. I believe these should either be listed separately or another column indicating their status should be added to the current table. Any suggestions/ Comments? - Trinidade (talk) 15:51, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IATA code of AIR India Express is missing and corresponding data are changed from its actual row(ie from "IATA" to "Type"). So Kindly change Tomnevin.t.y (talk) 05:49, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2. Just like List of Airlines of Japan article, IATA ICAO Callsign image Sharon Neal (talk) 17:52, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Sharon Neal: Great Idea! although the page is pretty much still vandalized and inaccurate if you look at the defunct sections IATA/ICAO codes. Bingobro(Chat) 15:40, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The "notes" column and the "upcoming" section[edit]
Do we really need these? I mean the notes column is redundant because the exact same info is available on the articles. The upcoming airline section doesn't make much sense to me either, the Jet Airways article has a sub section dedicated to the "relaunch" and Akasa has its own article, pointless to have the same content at two different places. Pinging LeoFrank, Sunnya343, Fylindfotberserk for discussion. Bingobro(Chat) 06:43, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I also feel these columns aren't necessary. The information in the "notes" column seems random. — Sunnya343✈ (háblame • my work) 17:07, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Notes could be of use but most of the current content is junk. No need for upcoming, it doesnt appear in any of the other lists of India. MilborneOne (talk) 18:39, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the upcoming section and the content from the notes though I've kept the column itself. If anyone differs feel free to discuss it here. Thanks! Bingobro(Chat) 05:09, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
