what happened to the rank by sales rather than my nameplate? This is much less useful as the other one was in highlighting which cars had the most sales. This is more useful for establishing the number for a given type of car, which can easily be placed in each car article. Bachcell (talk) 17:20, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Why not main the old list by sales as well, as it quite distinctly different organization of what is otherwise the same data? Bachcell (talk) 22:49, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Instead of Having a different list for each letter of the alphabet, shouldn't we have one big list? Then we could make the thing sortableby column, which would be far more useful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.57.183 (talk) 13:13, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
I wouldn't be able to write the article without messing something up, but it seems misleading to call this an article about automobile/vehicle sales while things such as motorcycles aren't included. From what I understand the Honda Super Cub is the best selling vehicle of all time with over 60,000,000 units produced and sold. Bryanedp9 (talk) 09:22, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

I think it is a good idea to include motorcycles, but commercial vehicles should be on a seperate page. There does not seem to be any information of Kia.

I have removed the Shelby Mustang GT350 from the list as the body and engine is not built by Shelby themselves, so therefore it is counted as a Ford Mustang production. Also Shelby is to Ford like these following to other manufacturers - Alpinas (BMW), Gemballa and Ruf Automobile (Porsche), AMG (Mercedes-Benz) - they all have in common is that they offer enhanced versions of the offered models.
I thought this list is for cars that is built entirely by the manufacturer, badge engineered models are welcome but not those modified by the manufacturers. Donnie Park (talk) 23:09, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
Hello. I would like to request a more high-quality photo of the Tesla Model S. The action shot looks blurry, and there's too much background noise. I would like to see a better-quality picture in order to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. Please help. Thank you.--Gg53000 (talk) 01:15, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of automobile sales by model's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "China2013":
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 11:27, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
