[t]he Israeli army has dismissed this information as false." It's not good enough, though, and I'm still waiting. Tweets aren't considered reliable sources by the way, so those can't be used. Nythar (💬-🍀) 18:13, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
Although, if he is not being held in Gaza, where is he then? Why don't the Israelis produce him, or at least his body? PatGallacher (talk) 23:15, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
The general can be seen in the video (https://twitter.com/idfonline/status/1711000825760297431/video/1) released by the IDF spokesperson at 11 seconds on October 8. I think he clearly wasn't kidnapped. - 2804:14D:78D3:556B:5E:1076:780D:3901 (talk) 19:42, 10 October 2023 (UTC)

Fake News Alert: major-general Nimrod Aloni was not kidnapped by Hamas. A picture of him from 2 days ago was published by Israeli Journalist Yossi Yehoshua Hebrew: יוסי יהושוע: [2]. There is no real evidence that Aloni was kidnapped. Therefore I ask you to change the article so it will be clear that Aloni's kidnapping didn't happen and it is a fake published by Hamas. (Here is another picture of Aloni from oct. 8: [3], he is in the left corner of the picture). Yonathan33 (talk) 06:48, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
