I think there is a case for disambiguation here, between 'Software Distribution' as a noun such as the examples given in the article, and as a verb meaning the process of distributing software, which has many aspects. I've never done a disambiguation split before, I'll go off and ask the CS project maintainers how/if to proceed. (The original comments stand, this page is a mess, even when only thinking about the noun meaning.) – Dan Shearer (talk) 14:21, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The page Distro points to this article, but the article, in first paragraph, claims "This is not to be confused with a distribution, or distro, which is ...". This is contradictory and needs to be resolved. Blue down quark (talk)
Article adds little value. Several different uses of the terms "software distribution" are thrown together. Main thrust of article different than usage of articles linking to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.58.91.190 (talk) 19:56, 13 July 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
