"She therefore received the classification symbol CVE-86, indicating that she was the eighty-second escort carrier" - I'm a little confused. The numeral 86 meant that she was the 82nd carrier? Unless eighty-second is an error for eighty-sixth, this should probably be explained in a footnote.
Formatting's a little off. From what I've seen, it's generally not liked to have images stretching below the references, so can the images get moved around/reduced in number so that they aren't stretching out below everything else?
