I've added Miller cycle since I saw it mentioned a lot on other pages, but perhaps it should not be in the template but rather be mentioned on the otto cycle page? -- Lio 07:24, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

The Wankel uses an otto cycle doesn't it? --Gbleem 10:37, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi Mikiemike
You did some changes on [2].
Are you sure that Regenerative cycle, Rankine cycle, Kalina cycle are not phase change cycles?
e.g. Rankine cycle Quote: "...Process 1-2: The high pressure liquid enters a boiler where it is heated at constant pressure by an external heat source to become a saturated vapor...". Liquid and vapor are two different phases, as far as I know.

I see that you're trying to get the Navigation template to accommodate groups and subgroups. Template:Carbohydrates might serve as a model for how to accomplish this.
Separately, having external links in the template is extremely unorthodox. I see that they're provided in place of as-yet-unwritten articles, but what would be better -- if you get the chance -- is to use those references to start stub articles for each of the redlinks, and include them in "References" or "External links".--Father Goose 00:47, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
This is pretty rare. Should this be removed? It confuses if it appears twice in exclusive columns. Donebythesecondlaw (talk) 08:36, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Agreed.--137.205.174.41 (talk) 11:04, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
I like rockets too but these are pretty specialized terms that are basically applications of other listed cycles (brayton for the first two, supercritical rankine for the third). Also expander is external combustion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:647:4900:D858:3D91:BC34:DDD0:182 (talk) 08:39, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
Should we add a separate entry for Einstein refrigerator, along the absorption refrigerator? 2A02:168:F609:0:5F8:C25A:2F16:ECD5 (talk) 03:39, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
