Troy Dannen is currently the Director of Athletics of the University of Washington at Seattle. He was previously the Director of Athletics at Tulane University for the past eight years.[1]

Career

Prior to Tulane, he was the athletic director of the Northern Iowa Panthers of the University of Northern Iowa.[2]

Dannen has served on various NCAA committees including the Division I Transformation Committee and the Football Oversight Committee.

He hired coach Willie Fritz during his time at Tulane. During Dannen's time at Tulane, the Green Wave had 49 All-Americans and 21 conference champions, and also made 41 postseason appearances, including a Cotton Bowl victory over the University of Southern California earlier in 2023.[1]
