Career (1)


CHANEL RYAN is an American Actress and former model of German and Irish descent. She’s appeared in films & magazines, such as BASEketball, Hobgoblins 2, Bad Kids Go To Hell , FHM and Maxim.

Chanel is no stranger to the entertainment industry; she has successfully navigated the acting and modeling industry over the past decade. Discovered on the beach in her early teens, her career has been going nonstop ever since. Ms. Ryan's latest endeavor is producing feature films. She is leveraging the skills gained from producing photo/video shoots/short films and applying those to feature film production.



Acting (1.1)


Ryan's first movie appearance was in independent film "Waiting for the Rocket" in 1994. In 1997, she auditioned for the film "George Wallace". Legendary director John Frankenheimer offered her the part on the spot, working with veteran actors Gary Sinise and Mare Winningham. In 1998, she landed the role of one of the "Felon Cheerleaders" in the Universal film BASEkeball, from the creators of South Park. In 2002, her improv training with GROUNDLINGS and ACME Comedy theater helped her garner a guest starring role opposite Bill Murray in the pilot "The Sweet Spot", as well as the role of iconic entertainer Andy William’s girlfriend and co-host on "The Andy William Easter Special" for the BBC.

During the early years of her career Ryan's main focus was modeling. She still continued to take acting jobs sporadically, but enjoyed success in the modeling world and spent the majority of her time traveling to different exotic locations for work. In 2011, she shifted her attention from modeling to acting full time.

In 2009, she played "Fantazia" in the cult classic follow-up "Hobgoblins 2", directed by Rick Sloan and in the award winning web series "Safety Geeks: SVI", as "Nurse Foxy".

In 2010, Chanel lands the lead role of Caitlin Carnelian in comedy webseries “Busted Reality” which mocks the world of reality television, and centers around three women determined to be famous by any means necessary.

In 2011, Chanel had a cameo in "Hollywood Sex Wars", director Paul Sapiano's follow-up to "The Boys and Girls Guide To Getting Down".

When introduced to Barry Ratcliffe, the casting associate on director Leigh Scott's "Dorothy & The Witches of Oz," the film had already wrapped. However, he was so impressed, he offered her a role during the last two days of pick-ups. The film stared Sean Astin, Christopher Lloyd and Lance Henrickson.

She can be seen in skits in the opening sequence of Spike TV's "Manswer's" (Season 4).

She also appeared as "Katy" in the web-series "Masters Of The House", written in the vein of Faulty Towers, as well as played "Bride Of Dracula" in comedy/horror "Paranormal Whactivity"

In 2012, Chanel landed a part in Jonas Akerlund's "Small Apartments" starring James Caan, and Billy Crystal. Her character, Swiss MIss, appears to Matt Lucas’s character in dream sequences throughout the film.

Also in 2012, she plays "Ms Gleason" in "Bad Kids Go to Hell" with Judd Nelson and Ben Browder, based on the best-selling comic book.

In 2013, Chanel had a cameo as "Ashley X" in the Rockumentary spoof "Skum Rocks", narrated by Alice Cooper . Other notable cameos in the film include Kevin Bacon (there goes that six degrees of separation), Matthew Broderick, Fran Drescher, Jon Stewart, Steve-O, Richie Sambora and Bret Michaels.

In 2014, Ryan plays genre legend Kane Hodder's evil sidekick "Isabel", in the horror film "Alice D.".


Producing/Photo Shoots (1.2)


In 2003, bedridden for a month while recovering from her first of 5 surgeries over the next 10 years for ovarian tumors, Ryan was encouraged to produce and model for her own swimsuit calendar. The "CHANEL" Swimsuit Calendar was born. She went on to produce her award winning calendars every year from 2004 -2011. From there on, she branched out putting her vast experience and knowledge to use , producing photo shoots for clients, including covers and layouts for magazines, campaigns for fashion designers, publicity images for films, models/actresses and image consulting.

Producing Film (1.4)


Always striving for more from her career, the progression to film producer was only natural. Her work as an actress on back to back independent features and her years of modeling served as a hands on Film School. She is currently in pre-production on her producing debut: "Crimson Saints", a feature, where she brings her extensive experience, knowledge of public relations/marketing/branding and her vast rolodex to the project.

Films in development include “The Contemptuous Ruby”, based on the festival winning short film and “All The Pretty Dead Girls”, with writer/director Mark Vadik.


Modeling (1.5)


Chanel's modeling career started when she was approached on the beach in her early teens to model for a swimwear campaign. More and more opportunities continued to present themselves, eventually making her a sought after model. She spent the early part of her career working in foreign locales all over the world, including Australia, the Bahamas, Canada, Costa Rica, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, the Philippines, Spain and Taiwan.

Some notable early accomplishments are her; Garth Brooks “In the Life of Chris Gains” album cover, campaigns for Harrah's casinos, Yamaha with professional motocross rider, Jeremy McGrath, Burke William Spas and posters for Miller Beer. She’s also walked the catwalk for Fredrick's of Hollywood, Adidas and Sketchers.

She’s been named one of the “sexiest woman in the world”, by magazines spanning the globe. Her images appear regularly on covers and layouts of magazines across the world, such as FHM, Maxim and Playboy.

Recent campaigns include Anheuser Busch Inbev, Harley Davidson Swimwear and Kai Vodka.

One of the most popular “Benchwarmer Trading Card” models with close to 50 collectible trading cards at last count.

Ryan has appeared in over 30 commercials to date including Pepsi, Saturn, Volkswagen, Del Taco, Wet & Wild Cosmetics, Expedia.com, Coca-Cola, Visa and Audi’s controversial “Green Police”.

In October 2003, Ryan appeared on “The Howard Stern” show, promoting the release of her first “CHANEL” Swimsuit Calendar. She’s also in the January, 2005 issue of Playboy Magazine (in lingerie) for the "Girl Of The Month" feature, shot by Brie Childers.

Ryan has had hundreds of photo shoots to her name, before embarking on producing photo shoots for clients.

Animal Activist (1.7)


An avid animal lover and activist, Chanel shares her home with two rescues; a cat named Ruby Tuesday and a Border Collie named Lucky, along with an endless stream of animals she fosters.

A portion of the proceeds, from her swimsuit calendars to her numerous autograph appearances, go to support animal charities each year.

She is an advocate for Best Friends Animal Society and Stray Cat alliance, among others. Chanel is very passionate about protection and preservation of all animals. She ends every media interview with a plea for people to spay and neuter their pets, and consider adoption from a local shelter or rescue.
