Hi! I'm CanonNi (/ˈkænən/ /ˈni/ ). I'm from Changning, Shanghai,  China and currently hold a  Hong Kong passport. I edit the English Wikipedia for fun in my free time.

I mainly deal with vandalism, translations, and redirect/category requests. I'm also a host at the Teahouse, although I'm not very active there.

My username comes from my WeChat ID, as it had to be at least 4 letters/numbers and couldn't have spaces. I use CanonNi (and sometimes canonnizq) for pretty much everything, so if you see an account with the same name, it's probably me. Say hi if you want to!

Public transportation

I'm a huge fan of public transportation and took pictures at every station in the Shanghai Metro network over the course of 3 days. (I would love to show them here but don't want to bother uploading over 400 selfies with station names to Wikimedia Commons).

My favorite...

• Line: 15 - fully self-driving, modern carriages, big clean stations, a masterpiece of public transport design. The only flaw: Hongbaoshi Road doesn't have transfer links with Line 10 so I have to bike from Yili Road everytime I have to transfer.
• Station: Century Avenue (it's so well designed compared to stations like Yishan Road and Longyang Road) although I've only been at Century Avenue once.
