I like awards but I often like to give these out in excess as well :)

Its good to point out some information about barnstars. The option to give them out requires nothing more than actually giving a different user the award. If I've come across a user account that i think (even if its something small)deserves recognition, they will get an award. There is no true definition or rules to follow in giving these awards out at this time. Though my criteria today is more stringant than say a few years ago, That said I do issue challenges for users on Wikipedia:Reward board regularly. Montreal Stars (DYK created and expanded 5x - Febuary 4th 2010 at 895 views, felt article needed promotion as it was a notable and quite historic woman's professional ice hockey team)
Neil R. Darrach (DYK Created- Feburary 2010 at 326 views, C-Class creation, Notable Canadian Archetect, some referencing still required)
Fabian Joseph (DYK expanded 5x -March 21st 2010 at 1200 views. Notable olympian. Clean up still required and prose checking)
Study club fire of 1929 (DYK created - April 13 2010 at 2500 views, article still requires some clean up)
Shirley Davidson (Ice Hockey) (DYK created - May 15 2010 at 2700 views, article still requires some expansion)
HMCS St. Thomas (K488) (DYK created - August 2010 at 7800 views, Article stands at B class (first B class largely due to help by other editors, but its great), needs a free image still some candidates. Some available in newspapers and online.)
