Hi, recently created another draft - Draft:Yasmeen Al Maimani - and have ensured just about every aspect that I could think of. Whenever you have time, can you please check and make suggestions as to how I could improve on it further? If you remember I had sought your help regarding another draft of mine about a year back, and recall you as being truly forthcoming. Thanks in advance, Tycheana (talk) 16:20, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
Hey Tycheana Please move the draft to article. (Shubham Ghodke) 16:37, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi Shubhamghodke3904, exactly how is that done? And why should it be moved to 'article'? Forgive my ignorance, but am not aware of this provision of Wikipedia, so please enlighten me. Thanks & regards, Tycheana (talk) 17:28, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
Tycheana you can find it on tool bar - Read, Edit source, History, then More, just click on more and go follow Move page and move your draft to an article. (Shubham Ghodke) 17:35, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi Shubhamghodke3904, thank you for the guidance, but I would like to get it checked by someone experienced before moving it anywhere. If CASSIOPEIA could kindly provide their opinion, it would be great. So I would like to wait for them to respond. Thanks again, Tycheana (talk) 18:59, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
Shubhamghodke3904, if Tycheana prefers not to bypass the AFC process, it's not a good idea for you to ignore their preference and do it yourself. Schazjmd(talk) 19:13, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
Tycheana G'day. Pls see comments on the draft page and thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:10, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi CASSIOPEIA, okay - can you please point out which source has come across as independent, so that I will retain that one and replace the rest? The subject has received a lot of coverage on the Internet, its just a matter of me being able to identify what can be used here. If you could kindly mention the source that is to be retained it would be a big help. Thanks & regards, Tycheana (talk) 02:49, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi CASSIOPEIA, okay - so the others should be somewhat on similar lines....will replace and let you know. The GACA source - can I use it under External links since it is the Saudi Government Aviation Authority? Thanks & regards, Tycheana (talk) 02:59, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Tycheana Female beaty/fashion magazines are not good sources and they would subject to challenge. Interviews also not a acceptable source as they are not independent (info is from the subject themselves). CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:30, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi CASSIOPEIA, okay - then Harper's Bazaar is out, what about the Saudi Gazette and Bahrain This Week? Also thenational.ae, which seems to be a lifestyle tabloid? Thanks & regards, Tycheana (talk) 04:40, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Tycheana I dont think they are reputable sources - Reliable/reputable sources are those sources from third-party, journalistic, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Take your time to find the sources. Draft articles will be in Wikipedia system for 6 months prior deletion. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:52, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Tycheana part of the piece is interview but the other would be used. One more source to go. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:35, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi CASSIOPEIA, ahhhh...thank God, now let me find another couple, then will bug you again, thanks for all the patience, Tycheana (talk) 05:38, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi CASSIOPEIA, great - will incorporate. There is another interesting link that I dug up today - https://www.asiatimes.com/2019/07/opinion/we-must-put-women-back-in-our-history-books/ - its an independent article on Arab women and their achievements and among many names is that of our subject's, just a few lines like the others. This has been written from the social perspective in mind I feel. Will this work as a reference? Thanks & regards, Tycheana (talk) 18:08, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Tycheana the source mentions the subject in one of many paragraphs in the article, it is not suitable source to claim the notability of the subject in Wikipedia. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 18:15, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi CASSIOPEIA, yes, thought as much, so considering Aerospace, I do have 3 credible sources, right? British Asia link you did not mention anything, so am discounting it. There is another Business Standard link in the draft to corroborate the Saudi Government's decision to issue licenses to women - it is just meant to corroborate a fact that I have used in the draft. For the last line concerning a congratulatory message from the Royal Saudi princess to the young pilot, can I use this link - https://theinsiderme.com/meet-yasmeen-al-maimani-saudi-arabias-first-female-commercial-pilot/. This has been mentioned in a lot of links that I sent you earlier today, Harper's Bazaar being one of them, but this source is not a women's or a beauty mag, so can I use it just to corroborate this one fact only? Thanks & regards, Tycheana (talk) 19:03, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

Counter Vandalism Unit
I know I'm an inexperienced editor(36 mainspace edits), but I really want to join (suggested by Amorymeltzer), is there any way I can join, becasuse I HATE vandalism, and I'm also adopted by DESiegel, so he can help me along the course, please don't reject me. --Sir Bond 007 (James The Bond 007) (talk) 13:50, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
Good day. I am sorry that I or any CVUA trainers would not be able to train you for you have been blocked due to a array of edits, such as vandalism, 3RR, disruptive, no civil behaviors toward other editor, improper of tagging CSD and deleting messages of other editors' talk page, that indicated in your talk page User:James The Bond 007 and in the ANI -WP:NOTHERE editor . I am dismayed to know for an editor like you to have only less than 500 edits and registered only 2 months early would make so many edits that go against Wikipedia guidelines and policies. I suggest you to be "extremely patient", reflect on what you have done and hope DESiegel could help you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:27, 21 December 2019 (UTC)

Assistance Required
Hello there, I didn’t who else to ask but you because in this regard I think you’re very much knowledgeable. My quest is this; is there a tool/script that can be installed that shows previously deleted articles via AFD in the “New Pages Feed” ? Celestina007 (talk) 21:25, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
(talk page watcher) Celestina007, try the User:Writ Keeper/Scripts/deletionFinder.js script. When you open an article (whether from New Pages feed or elsewhere), at the top of the article after the title will appear "prev del" if it has been speedy deleted previously and/or "prev afd" if the article has been deleted via AFD. Clicking it will open the deletion log for that article. The New Pages feed does display "previously deleted" next to the article title as well by default. Schazjmd(talk) 21:44, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
Schazjmd, thanks! much love. Just tried it out it works just fine.💕Celestina007 (talk) 21:57, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
CVU Training
Hi CASSIOPEIA!
I hope you're doing well :) I saw that you are an available trainer for the CVU Academy and was interested in receiving some training on Wikipedia vandalism. Could you please let me know what some next steps are? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yerkes-Dodson (talk • contribs) 00:09, 19 December 2019 (UTC) https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/en.wikipedia.org/Yerkes-Dodson
Yerkes-Dodson Hi Good day. Thank you for interested in CVUA program. I saw you have done counter vandalism work and some of them you stated as good faith but they actually were vandalism or test edits. The program reqires editor with min 200 mainspace edits and you have 147 main space edit at the moment - see HERE. Once you reach 200 mainspace edit, then pop back here to request for enrollment. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:44, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: Thanks for the feedback--I'll hold off on further counter vandalism efforts until I reach 200 main space edits and get appropriately trained. Talk soon, Yerkes-Dodson (talk) 05:47, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: I've since reached 200 mainspace edits and am re-requesting admission to the CVU academy. Yerkes-Dodson (talk) 10:20, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
Yerkes-Dodson Hello, please read Counter-Vandalism Unit message thread and reply here if you are still interested to enroll. Do not the CVUA motto is Muturity-Responsiblity-Civiliy. CASSIOPEIA I've read the linked message thread, completed The Wikipedia Adventure accordingly, and am still interested in participating in the CVU Academy. I plan on being with Wikipedia for a long time and look forward to gaining an exhaustive and complete understanding of vandalism and anti-vandalism efforts here. Yerkes-Dodson Good day. I set up assignment 1 for you. Please make sure you enable WP:Twinkle and know how to provide hist diff - see here Wikipedia:Simplest diff guide. Once you have done the assignment and would like to get it review then ping me on the sub page (at the end of the assignment). I will usually review the assignment a day after you ping me. Do raise any questions of the review if there are any, if not and you are ready to proceed to next assignment then let me know and I will post it accordingly. One thing to note - very important - Do NOT revert more than 3 times within 24 hours on the same page if the edit you reverted are NOT considered blatantly vandalism for you will be blocked. Please bear in mind. Welcome to CUVA. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 08:37, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

New Page Review newsletter December 2019
Reviewer of the Year
This year's Reviewer of the Year is Rosguill. Having gotten the reviewer PERM in August 2018, they have been a regular reviewer of articles and redirects, been an active participant in the NPP community, and has been the driving force for the emerging NPP Source Guide that will help reviewers better evaluate sourcing and notability in many countries for which it has historically been difficult.
Special commendation again goes to Onel5969 who ends the year as one of our most prolific reviewers for the second consecutive year. Thanks also to Boleyn and JTtheOG who have been in the top 5 for the last two years as well.
Several newer editors have done a lot of work with CAPTAIN MEDUSA and DannyS712 (who has also written bots which have patrolled thousands of redirects) being new reviewers since this time last year.
Thanks to them and to everyone reading this who has participated in New Page Patrol this year.
(The top 100 reviewers of the year can be found here)
Redirect autopatrol
A recent Request for Comment on creating a new redirect autopatrol pseduo-permission was closed early. New Page Reviewers are now able to nominate editors who have an established track record creating uncontroversial redirects. At the individual discretion of any administrator or after 24 hours and a consensus of at least 3 New Page Reviewers an editor may be added to a list of users whose redirects will be patrolled automatically by DannyS712 bot III.
Source Guide Discussion
Set to launch early in the new year is our first New Page Patrol Source Guide discussion. These discussions are designed to solicit input on sources in places and topic areas that might otherwise be harder for reviewers to evaluate. The hope is that this will allow us to improve the accuracy of our patrols for articles using these sources (and/or give us places to perform a WP:BEFORE prior to nominating for deletion). Please watch the New Page Patrol talk page for more information.
This month's refresher course
While New Page Reviewers are an experienced set of editors, we all benefit from an occasional review. This month consider refreshing yourself on Wikipedia:Notability (geographic features). Also consider how we can take the time for quality in this area. For instance, sources to verify human settlements, which are presumed notable, can often be found in seconds. This lets us avoid the (ugly) 'Needs more refs' tag.

Michael E Nolan Hi Greeting. All articles needs to have WP:SIGCOV coverage from WP:IS and WP:RS to supported the content claimed for WP:V where by the sources talk about the subject in length and in dept and not merely passing mentioned - see WP:42. 7 days from now is 2020 and you would have the sources by then. Regarding your edit to Blake Griffin, I restored his middle name and added a source. For NBA players, https://www.basketball-reference.com is a reliable source for middle names (and birthdates). Also, I removed your addition of "United States" to his birthplace. Per the documented convention at Template:Infobox basketball biography, countries are not listed if they are consistent with the nationality listed. Regards and Happy New Year.—Bagumba (talk) 05:15, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
Bagumba good day. Thank you for informing and adding the source into the article. Cheers and happy new year. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:36, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
Proposed deletion
Regarding article [2]. I came to know that this was attempted and deleted way back in 2013 also. However the person in discussion, I found notable considering there are very few individuals from India who is heading an international organization of such repute. Person is heading ISA which is an alliance of 121 countries focusing on solar power utilization. I came to know about this while going through a news daily where he is aiming to create $1 trn global solar market and his contribution in engaging more countries to sustainable energy is very well anticipated.
I will add some more authentic reference to showcase notability and happy to discuss and improve the community workspace.

CUVA Enrolment
Hello Belated Merry Christmas @CASSIOPEIA:, As I want to contribute to Wikipedia so to learn all fields of Wikipedia, I post a request to take part in CUVA, but I didn't have appropriate knowledge so I post the request on the wrong place. So I'm sorry, you rectify my mistake. And as you do suggest me to take up the WP:Wikipedia Adventure program prior enrollment, that's totally fine I'm not in a hurry, I want to just learn, and practice will give me experience. So if in future you have slot available for a student for the training purposes do let me know or anyone other editor who is in the IST timezone if your not available. Thanks FascinateGuy (talk) 09:10, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Hello @CASSIOPEIA:, It took me much time for completing the WP:Wikipedia Adventure due to network issue in my city, so I'm late to reply you soon. But now I completed the adventure and I'm ready for CUVA enrollment. Thanks, for your suggestions. What's next. FascinateGuy (talk) 12:52, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
FascinateGuy hi, please read Counter-Vandalism Unit message thread and reply here if you are still interested to enroll. Do not the CVUA motto is Muturity-Responsiblity-Civiliy. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:02, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Hello @CASSIOPEIA:, I have started reading, and it's quite challenging by the situation arrive and to handle it, and guide other. You are amazing, I think, I will be capable of guiding other, But before that I want to learn and gain knowledge. It's challenging and interesting so I'm ready to contribute. Thanks FascinateGuy (talk) 13:12, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
FascinateGuy ,Since you have about 200+ main space edits, there are certain counter vandalism tools which can be granted at 1000+ main space edits and it would be difficult for you to work on the counter vandalism assignments/work with out them/it. I encourage you to make more edit by helping areas such as spelling, clean up, sub sort, short description and etc which you can view the list here [[[Wikipedia:Maintenance]]. I have set up the program for you; however, do note that there is a lot of reading and assignments.
Lastly please Please bear in mind that do NOT revert more than 3 times within 24 hours on the same page if the edits you reverted are NOT considered blatantly vandalism for you will be blocked. Welcome to CUVA. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:31, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, I will do keep in mind all the suggestions that you have provided me and I will follow all policies and guidelines. FascinateGuy (talk) 13:36, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Cassiopeia, FascinateGuy is a sock of Vc4137. Regards. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:49, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Cyphoidbomb Thank you for informing. Appreciate it. There are some occasions editors requested for CVUA enrollment which they were exposed as SOCKs after their enrollment. It is a little of concern that editors would want to go through CVUA program and upon graduated they could apply for rollback right. Thank you for catching them. Cheers and Happy New Year. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:21, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
I made the edit because the UFC website has the fight listed on the UFC 246 fight card on the early prelims.WWEFan1926 (talk) 03:28, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
WWEFan1926 Good day. thank you for informing me on this. As I have left over 30+warning messages, half a dozen explanation of guidelines and info on your talk page and you have been blocked 3 times for not adhere to the guidelines. It would be a simple thing to do just to leave a edit summary before saving your edit and providing the link and I would able to check your edit summary as per link you provided. I have inform you about how to add edit summary a few times before and I have seen you that that as well, so it is a matter of doing that as a habit. If you edit from a phone and find it a little difficult to do so, then for obvious edit such as correction of spelling, format, wikicode, then just place "minor" or "m" on edit summary as it is self-explanatory. If you move the announced bout to fight card you can do it in one edit instead of two and just place "as per UFC.com" or "in UFC fight card". But if you remove sourced content without explanation then it would consider a vandalism edit and do provide source when you add an announced bout. The reason why during fights update (play by play results) edit in UFC event article, no warning message is provided it is because the source (UFC.com - at the bottom of the fight card or the article) is updated by UFC immediately after fights finished. That means the source updated itself without us to do so. I would usually to re-reference it so the source date is current and not some months ago. I have checked, surprisingly no media pick up the change of event for the bout but only those sites about betting odds. I have removed the warning from you talk page. Do help us here WWEFan1926, as you are an enthusiam mma editor in Wikipedia, just leave a edit summary and provide source, so we would know the reasons of your edits as Wikipedia is a collaboration all many editor and we need to be informed so we could work together for a greater good. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:59, 29 December 2019 (UTC)

Could you please check the Draft:Libor Zábranský (ice hockey, born 2000) you moved to the Draft namespace. I've added sources and external links and expand the heading section a tiny bit. First of all, thank you for the quick reaction! I've added some info (most of it is just translation from Czech wiki) and linked sources, so hopefully its usable now. To be honest, I never understood the rule as there is quite a lot of (ice hockey players') pages that do not fulfill the requirements of the rule (i.e. Jan Jeník, Jan Myšák, Kirill Marchenko, Patrik Puistola, Nils Höglander, Aatu Räty... and I did not dig deep to find them, just opened linked profiles for current 2020 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drecker (talk • contribs) 16:24, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

Dear Sir/Madam
I tried to insert a change in Thillai Kali which is based on my readings of various books, particularly the book History of Saivism by Dr.Padmavathy (a senior epigraphist and scholar from tamilnadu). I was going to include this reference. This is the first time I am editing a content in Wikipedia and was pleasantly surprised that apocryphal content is being fought back. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.50.69.8 (talk) 15:17, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

"Thank you for your message re my additions to the article on Simon Lole. I was simply trying to update the information as I am Simon Lole and therefore the source. What do I need to do to add a source to update information? Thanking you, and happy new year." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.16.45.149 (talk) 12:50, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
92.16.45.149 Greetings. Since you are the subject of the article, you have a WP:COI (conflict of interest) here to edit the article and Wikipedia strongly suggest you not to do so for it would be difficult for you to write in a [[WP:NPOV|neutral point of view). What you can do is to provide the source (references such as newspapers) against the content claimed and ask for a WP:Edit requests by posting the source and the content on the article talk page - HERE, so any interest editor would able to help you. Click on all the blue highlighted texts for further info. Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). Happy New Year. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:00, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
