I'd appreciate it if you could userspace the deleted article American Association of Cat Enthusiasts to User:SMcCandlish/Incubator/American Association of Cat Enthusiasts. I think that's the only major cat breed registry with no article here, and I'm curious if anything at all useful can be made of the deleted stub. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō)ˀ Contribs. 18:32, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
Please block this user. He/she is the same sock that randomly revert edits, especially those of User:Zagalejo. All of the previous incarnations can be seen on the history page of Terrence Williams. Thanks.—Chris!c/t 02:32, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Excuse me Dabomb. I am wondering if you can write a Feature for WikiProject Video games' Newsletter? We would like to get someone with an outside perspective to write about their area of expertise and what VG project members should consider when navigating the process. Relevant information on Ioeth's talk page, whom originally semi-protected the articles Marinid dynasty, Almoravid dynasty, Almohad caliphate and Saadi dynasty. I promoted the first 3 to full protection due to an auto-confirmed editor edit-warring, and the 2 IPs have been reverting each other across some (or all) of those pages. See Special:Contributions/87.217.107.3 and Special:Contributions/78.251.223.62 for evidence. Posting to let you know that it's not just 1 article that recently came off semi/full prot. - Penwhale | dance in the air and follow his steps 09:21, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Can you run that dash script on List of people from Montana (gridiron football) or teach me how? Thanks. PumpkinSky talk 02:51, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Can you indef block this ip? It is the same trouble making ip I asked you to block last week. Thanks—Chris!c/t 19:12, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Hi, Drmies suggested I ask you and a couple others about this: I think that we should probably merge the articles on Shaman (Finnish band) and Korpiklaani, and have the resultant article take a chronological view of the two styles/names. I've started a new section at Talk:Korpiklaani#New merger discussion. Would you please take a look and comment? Thanks! LadyofShalott 12:18, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi Dabomb. Can we use a different image for Numerical weather prediction's blurb? The current image is from a ocean wave model, which uses NWP data, but is not the best example of NWP per se. Maybe something like File:GFS 850 MB.PNG or File:AtmosphericModelSchematic.png would be better? Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 20:45, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
I saw that the article was set up to be the article of the day on the 13th. I was just curious if someone nominated it at TFA/requests or if was approved some other way? I figured I wouldn't have a chance of getting it as a TFA until at least the 5-year anniversary! I'll be going through the article and updating any data, fixing links, and performing maintenance prior to the posting on the main page. --Happy editing! Like many other BLPs, Stephen M. Cohen was semi-protected when the pending changes trial was over. I see no reason why it should remain semi-protected at this time. Guy Macon (talk) 11:01, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I discovered a major new study on classification of cockatoos has either just been or about to be published. Some other editors are discussing at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Birds#Cockatoo_fun. The other nominator is concerned and would like more time to sort this out. I think delaying the mainpage appearance is prudent. Sorry.....Casliber (talk · contribs) 20:18, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for protecting the page--I initially requested full because one of the users involved has been around since late July, but now I see you have to make 10 edits as well to be autoconfirmed. Blueboy96 20:32, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
You saved the wrong version, for real. Just before you protected it a vandal hit it, could you revert that? - Haymaker (talk) 03:22, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Could you please take a look at User:GoogleChrisPaul? It's the guy who randomly reverts people at basketball articles. Thanks. Zagalejo^^^ 00:10, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

There is a huge batch of new WP:FS created on July 30 and 31 that have not yet been included in WP:POST. What is going on?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 14:03, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
Sorry to inform you, em-dashes are spaced in normal typography. The only place where this practice is apparently not followed is on Wikipedia, where the blind lead the blind and no one bothers taking a course in typing or "keyboarding" as it is now called, or referring to any of the numerous books on style that have existed for a century before the World Wide Web was invented. There are good technical reasons for this, based on how various browsers handle certain characters for the purposes of line wrapping and visual clarity. — QuicksilverT @ 05:24, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

I was wondering if you could merge Willy Fetzer's edit history into Bill Fetzer history? The discussion can be found here, and is a non-controversial merge. Jrcla2 (talk) 00:46, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Regarding Mandippal Jandu, we edit-conflicted, but no objections to the longer semi-protection from me! No worries, — Cirt (talk) 18:14, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
All comments fixed; please rc comments with a support or an oppose. Albacore (talk) 17:56, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi. When you get a chance can you take a look at this user? I suspect it's another Taro-Gabunia sock like the one you blocked last month. The puppetmaster has been disruptive ([1], [2]) over at Portal 2. Thanks. Lagrange613 (talk) 00:24, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Since you're like a guru for FL's RS and have helped me in the past, I thought I might ask again: Are Movie City News (http://moviecitynews.com/) and Awards Daily (http://www.awardsdaily.com/) acceptable sources for FLs? Thanks! Crystal Clear x3 00:33, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Why did you close it as unsuccessful? I did everything required on my end in fixing any comments!SaysWhoWhatWhenWhereWhyHow? (talk) 00:42, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
May I ask for it to be open again and be given more time for people to support of oppose it? I read it was Stale nomination but I don't think its fair to close it even if it past the month time issue, especially that no one had his say about it.
– HonorTheKing (talk) 01:01, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure why you closed it as unsuccessful, given that every issue was resolved. Serendipodous 06:41, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Hey Dabomb, just so you know I'm hoping to save Richard Nixon for his centennial day, January 9, 1913, and I'll nominate as normal, if we are all spared to be there, in due course. Best,--Wehwalt (talk) 09:47, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
John Leister (football) and John Leister are on the same person. He played both pro football and baseball. I can merge the info and make a redirect, but can't delete one or know what to do with edit history. Pls advise. PumpkinSky talk 00:05, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

The Brandon Belt edit was accurate: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/08/25/SP3V1KS2CD.DTL — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.6.230.72 (talk) 19:32, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
One person? Did you bother to read the article I linked ("Now, it's become a thing. The nickname has caught on. A fan in the stands Wednesday night actually wore a giraffe hat. On Thursday, Belt's fan mail included an ivy and moss giraffe topiary created by a Marin County florist. Belt is rolling with it.")? Half the stadium was filled with giraffe hats and stuffed giraffes yesterday. Belt HIMSELF even blogged about how much he likes it last week. You guys need to be a LOT more careful before labeling serious edits vandalism. http://veteranandrook.mlblogs.com/2011/08/24/awkward-brandon-belt/?partnerId=aw-8138279277111761573-1069 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.6.230.72 (talk) 14:51, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
I just made various changes to this article. You last semi-protected it, restoring it back to previous semi-protection put in place by Dabachmann some 3 years ago due to a single incident then. I'm not affected by semi-protection but I wonder why we need it at all. Doesn't seem to make sense to keep it indefinitely protected just because of that. Benwing (talk) 09:22, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
