Just to let you know, I e-mailed you. Making the RfA page right now. Nishkid64 23:55, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
There is nothing wrong with me posting a ligitimate page on Daniel Chen. He is a state record holder in the state of Oregon. This is important, he is the fastest 11-12 year old swimmer to ever swim in Oregon. I do not believe that it is appropriate to say that this is not important, or to punish me for posting an article about him on Wikipedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sgtpepper2751 (talk • contribs) 23:56, 25 January 2007 (UTC).
As the heir to the heir he is still a notable character and as such is worthy of description on wikipedia.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dur85 (talk • contribs)

So I made a very poor decision and I am terribly sorry that I vandalized grunge music.
Under the circumstances, I had no choice.
Can you imagine the kind of pressure I was in with all my friends egging me on?
Keep this to yourself, but I don't like them all too much.
Maybe one of these days, we can live in a world without peer pressure.
Yet I doubt that day will come.
But a man can only dream.
After all, everyone changes over the course of their life.
Lately, I've noticed everyone just seems nicer.
Luckily my friends seem nicer too.
So long, good sir, and have a good day. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrcrono (talk • contribs) 18:13, 26 January 2007 (UTC).

why did u delete my addition? if you did not notice i had stated that he was not well-known and the fact that the use of an arab strap is not worldwide. What is the point of wikipedia if people are not able to find every detal that they can possibly find. i know that is why i enjoy using wikipedia so much. because it has every little piece of information you could ever want, and even some of the things you don't even need to know.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeyboy27364 (talk • contribs)
Do you know how I would be able to find things on limewire that have already been deleted from the server? Because the information I had found was from 2001, and I have not been able to find it for over 2 years. The only reason i remembered it is because a neigher of mine has a similar name. Sorry if I can't find enough internet proof, I will try to find some before editing next time.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Monkeyboy27364 (talk • contribs).
That's weird, I've deleted it again. Hopefully I don't get accused of wheel warring. ;-) Khoikhoi 02:21, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

get real. have you read the bullshit on that director? it's almost all made up. and how about the short films? they're all made up except for maybe five.
somebody likes to post made up shit in an attempt to ...what? it's beyond me.
give me a break.
I'm sorry it had to end that way, but I am glad it served as a learning experience, for the both of us. Hopefully you can improve based on the opposition votes, and maybe I can nominate you again in the future. Nishkid64 20:20, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Let me add my voice to the show of support above. As I mentioned in your RfA, I think some of the concerns expressed there were genuine but some of them were not. Don't over-analyze the whole thing: it's not easy to keep cool when dealing with vandals and for the most part you've handled that quite well. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 22:28, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
I am sorry. We have interacted well in the past, and I supported you. Please try again in three months or so.--Anthony.bradbury 20:50, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Sorry I had to oppose. If concerns are addressed - which I'm sure they will be - I would be happy to give strong support in 2 months or more. Please leave a note on my talk page when you stand again (not spam, because I've requested it). Tyrenius 22:07, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

There was a link from Decca recording artist Neil Reid (ca. 1971) to am. architect Neel Reid (died 1926!) (note spelling). There is no article on Neil Reid. Cld you pse remove the dummy look-up of Neil Reid, so that it again becomes a red link on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Artists_under_the_Decca_Records_label Thank you in advance for assistance.imfred 14:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Also, regarding "Speedy deletion": There is an article that redirects from "Mark Wynter" to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Wynter who occurs to me as a nobody, therefore satisfying the criteria set on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion "Articles 7. Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content". This article I discovered when creating and pursuing a link from 1960's Decca artist by name of Mark Wynter. Thankful if you could advise how to get rid of this rubbish. regards, imfred 15:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello Fan 1967-
You posted a comment for Van Vandegrift back in Nov. '06. IMDB has now been updated correctly showing Van's Executive Producer credit. If you are interested, check out www.aetv.com for a preview of Kings of South Beach and be sure to tune in for the premiere on Monday night, March 12, 2007 or one of the many airings following.

WTF?
A ((prod)) template has been added to the article The Color of Money (album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod))
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with ((db-author)). Spellcast 09:57, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

The Portuguese (and German) Wikipedias seem to have thoroughly verified the (somewhat arbitrary) criteria for deletion and decided not to do it. She was a real person, a real poet, a published author, and a nationally acclaimed journalist. I think this is far more important than, say, to keep adding badly translated wikis about Pokemon thingummies. Any ideas? (i.e., can you please help me make the English Language Wikipedia as accurate as possible, and ever so slightly less focussed on current american trivia nad pop news?)
Thanks,
Kirr —Preceding unsigned comment added by KirrVlad (talk • contribs) 12:50, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
I need your help. I am working on a research project at Boston College, studying creation of medical information on Wikipedia. You are being contacted, because you have been identified as an important contributor to one or more articles.
Would you will be willing to answer a few questions about your experience? We've done considerable background research, but we would also like to gather the insight of the actual editors. Details about the project can be found at the user page of the project leader, geraldckane. Survey questions can be found at geraldckane/medsurvey. Your privacy and confidentiality will be strictly protected!
The questions should only take a few minutes. I hope you will be willing to complete the survey, as we do value your insight. Please do not hesitate to contact me or Professor Kane if you have any questions.
Thank You, BCeagle0312 (talk) 15:17, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

As part of a project funded by the European Commission (QLectives), we are collecting and analysing data to study quality control mechanisms and inclusion/deletion policies in Wikipedia. According to our records, you participated in a large number of AfD. We are currently soliciting editors with a long record of participation in AfD discussions to send us their feedback via a very informal survey.
The survey takes less than 5 minutes and is available at this URL. Should you have any questions about this project, feel free to get in touch.
Thanks for your help! --DarTar (talk) 10:45, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
An editor has nominated Raven Riley, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Raven Riley (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 02:13, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:TacticsOfMistake.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:09, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

I notice that you were in favour of keeping the page on this distinguished British pianist. Quite right too! She is very impressive and prolific on the concert scene and has numerous major CDs to her credit. I notice she has a very fine website too www.christinecroshaw.com Would you perhaps add an image of her to her wikipedia page? A Google search shows this to be her most up to date publicity photograph: http://www.artrabbit.com/uk/events/event/14200/concert_series_2009_christine_croshaw

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
