Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:51, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Some undoing

For WikiProjects that are working correctly, the article alerts are generated by outside tools and posted to the relevant subpages of the WikiProject's home page. I found I needed to undo some places where you had tried to add Draft:WAICY in places it did not belong. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:54, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What? Figbiscuits (talk) 02:58, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Proper venue

You're better off asking about Draft:World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth at WT:WikiProject Computing. WikiProject Neuroscience does not cover any aspect of AI; it's strictly about wetware. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v Source assessment notes 04:37, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2008 West Palm Beach Wendy's shooting

Do not restore previously deleted content. There was a community discussion. Chris Troutman (talk) 02:58, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's up to an admin.
Neither you or I can see if it's "substantially identical to the deleted version". Figbiscuits (talk) 03:03, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I found the discussion which I think you are referring to;
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2008 West Palm Beach Wendy's shooting
That's 2008.
Right?
I believe it's a notable topic. If you disagree, please proceed through the appropriate channels.

Draft approvals

I appreciate you approving drafts, but I have two concerns:

If you are confident that you are in the authority to do all of this though I would like you to look over Draft:Nitta Shrine (Satsumasendai City). AFC is a very opaque process to me and it often takes a very long time to get any articles through. Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 03:45, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please can you show me the policy that explains why you should have a notification for Ariki Shrine? Thanks. Figbiscuits (talk) 03:47, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
