Canadian English[edit]

Welcome. Please take a look at Wikipedia's policy on national varieties of English. In an article about a Canadian flag, we should be using Canadian English, which means using -ize instead of the British -ise. Regards, Ground Zero | t 20:05, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And don't worry about making mistakes. Everyone does in Wikipedia. It is a way of learning. And I agree about the z's, but what can I do beyond continuing to pronounce the 'd' at the end? Ground Zero | t 01:34, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I appreciate the help. Think I shall spend some more time in the sandbox though. Love Canada so guess I wanted it to be spelling the British way *violins* never mind! And as long as you keep pronouncing it, you're making the world a better place
