Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Whispering were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Philippa Beale and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you now believe the draft cannot meet Wikipedia's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Hi Gingerfinallysnaps! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, How do I put citations into a bio in a draft I am writing?, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

Thanks for creating and developing this draft however there is still insufficient evidence of meeting the notability criteria for an artist e.g. winning an international art award or having work in the permanent collection of a major gallery or museum.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello MurielMary (talk)
Thank you for taking the time to review my page on Philippa Beale.
I absolutely agree with you that there should be sufficient evidence of artistic notability on the page in the form of significant galleries or awards. Hence the multiple mentions of Philippa's work in permanent collections, the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) which is a world-renowned artistic institution, along with the Whitechapel Art Gallery. She is also in the National Art Archive at the V&A as I have cited. f you need evidence of these institutions' notability, let me know.
Referring to Wikipedia's criteria to be fulfilled - Philippa Beale qualifies for 2,3 and 4.
1.The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors.
2.The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique.
Philippa co-founded the Arborealists.
3.The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews.
4.The person's work (or works) has: (a) become a significant monument, (b) been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) won significant critical attention, or (d) been represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums.
Thank you for your consideration.
