Information icon Hello, I'm Sam Sailor. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to 2290s because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2290, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. The Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax is if anything called "Form 2290", hijacking 2290 to create a redirect makes little sense. Do you want me to create a redirect from Form 2290 to Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax? -- Sam Sing! 23:52, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! -- Sam Sing! 14:09, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax[edit]

The article Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not encyclopedic; reads more like instructions than an article. In any case the subject itself does not seem to be deserving of a separate article; Google search finds only IRS links and passing mentions in news stories. I can't think of a good redirect target.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated)) notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated)) will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
