Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Ts12rAc was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Dallas Lifespan Brain Study and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.

Please go to Draft:Dallas Lifespan Brain Study, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "((Db-g7))" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.

Hi Jonknox12! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Draft:Robert Rennaker, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days.
AfC notification: Draft:Roderick Heelis has a new comment[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Roderick Heelis. Thanks! Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 02:24, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Paid contribution - a draft with the exact same content is awaiting review and the creation here is an attempt (quite likely in good faith) to circumvent that process
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated)) notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
Thank you for your submission, but the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at Robert Rennaker instead.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Two copies of this page have been created, in draft space and in article space. It is not necessary to create two copies of the same page, and it annoys the reviewers. This is sometimes done in order to bypass Articles for Creation review. However, if a submitter is ready to have the article in article space, it can be moved into article space, rather than creating a copy. It is common for a page that has been duplicated in draft space and in article space to be nominated for deletion or proposed for deletion.
If the article is kept, this draft should be redirected to the article. If the article is deleted, this draft may be kept for future improvement.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Walter Voit until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
Your ref#4 is not just that he is a member of AIMBE, but that he was elected to College of Fellows. Making that clear might improve the article being retained. David notMD (talk) 16:46, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are allowed to add a "Keep" to the deletion discussion. The process is not a vote. At the end (7-14 days) an Administrator will make a decision. P.S. Might help a bit if any of the references state that he is tenured faculty. David notMD (talk) 15:01, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Therfore this needs substantial 3rd party reliable published sources, not press releases or blogs or postings or mere notices

An article you recently created, Shalini Prasad, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Since you are creating Wikipedia articles as part of your job, please learn how to do references properly so unpaid volunteers don't have to fix them. A web link is not enough since sites move web pages around. Please include the publisher, date, and authors if any as well as the title. See the tutorial at Help:Introduction, particularly the section on referencing with Visual Editor which makes it easy. User:Nick Moyes/Easier Referencing for Beginners is also a good read.
Academic articles should also include the person's educational background. Shalini Prasad's faculty webpage is a good reference for hers. StarryGrandma (talk) 01:22, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, [user:StarryGrandma:StarryGrandma],
When I began making articles, I had tried to use these faculty websites in the past, but they were not accepted as independent sources, since the websites were hosted by the facility for which these people worked. Is this not the case, or have I misunderstood what your suggestion is?
Yes. You need to disclose for ALL the articles you're writing. In addition, I just went through a couple, and way too much of the writing is promotional, resume-style, and/or improperly verified. SECONDARY sources please. We're writing an encyclopedia, not a set of tenure or promotion applications. Drmies (talk) 18:22, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Gusfriend were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at CINDI. Since anyone can edit Wikipedia, you are welcome to add that information yourself. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Article either needs more (as per the previous comment) or it should be merged with the CINDI page and can be split off at a later date.
