Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Hermann Fegelein (Downfall) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. Proposed deletion of Hermann Fegelein (parody)[edit]

The article Hermann Fegelein (parody) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is about a character in a parody of the film Downfall. The parody itself is not notable enough to have its own page, and so a character within it would not be either. Additionally, the "Background" section is directly copied from Hermann Fegelein and no references are used.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod)) notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing ((dated prod)) will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hermann Fegelein[edit]

I know he has become a cult figure and a meme of sorts because of the parodies that depict him as a prankster, but I don't think that his deeds are notable here in Wikipedia. I suggest that you try posting it at Whatport80, Wikitubia or Know Your Meme, unless if you're willing to be shot by the wiki police. Blake Gripling (talk) 23:58, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Hermann Fegelein (Downfall)[edit]

The article Hermann Fegelein (Downfall) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Creator has previously blanked this article (but article was restored by someone else), no established WP:NOTABILITY of the character; single-appearance characters in a movie rarely ever deserve an article (i.e. the character can still be covered in the movie's article); no sourced material to WP:MERGE; redirect implausible.

– sgeureka tc 07:40, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
