Wish I could have been there. That looks like quite the turnout. When we had one in my burg only two people showed up: Angela and me. (That was fun though.) How was it? Antandrus (talk) 05:49, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Yes, it looks like it was a big success, and why not? The NY area has many Wikipedians, so it makes sense that we would have a vital group. I hope to make it next time. Best regards, -- Ssilvers 21:49, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your block note. I am working on a bot called User:PocKleanBot and as you say it has written the same template to a few pages. The reason for this is that it does keep a list of articles for which it has already been run but at this point its obviously not recalling values from it correctly. The bot is still in development but its very difficult to develop it without testing it occasionally and observing the output. I am aware this causes something of a nuisance for users and so left it as late as I could in the development process.
I have now corrected this problem I think, but it could cause the same problem again if unblocked and re-run.
What would you recommend?

Sorry about the cut/paste. Actually I have been trying to find out the right way to do this. If you can let me know I will be grateful. (Maybe I shouldn't tell you about my other crimes . . . .) - Kleinzach 00:12, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Freshly made Beethoven Symphony, though perhaps requiring your and Antandrus's sight to fix the language, and...well...make the article, since I only do poor stubs. *sob* Not that I'm sure there's really terribly much else to say about it. Which is why I tend to make stubs, y'see. Ciao. ~Kylu (u|t) 06:53, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Moved some of my article editing to another account and finished a few articles if you'd like to review them. JBarrett (Kylu-music-article-sock) 05:34, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Nice! Nice!
I have a strong preference for #2. It's ... not only the presence (with the less "live" ambience) but overall just seems more personal somehow. Really beautiful. I like the way you did the ending too. Antandrus (talk) 22:09, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
I've finally got it all working - Audacity was the key, so I'm not reliant on the toolserver for the JOrbis player anymore - and I have to say that I prefer the reverb one. It hath more poetry to it. BTW, I'll have a little list of stuff that I'd ideally like recorded for the new project tomorrow when I've got more time. Hope everyone had a good Christmas! Cheers, Moreschi Deletion! 20:22, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
I noticed you mildly warned Damien Shiest [1] so I figured I'd come to you about a possible issue with him. I'm not sure if he should be added to Wikipedia:Requests for investigation; I noticed he's been subtly vandalizing pages (some examples: [2] [3] [4]) and engaged in other questionable behavior ([5] and [6]). I suppose it might only be necessary for an admin to explain the problem to him.... Thank you for your time. -- Heptite (T) (C) (@) 09:18, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Mak,
Many thanks indeed for your kind comments. However, you request me >>... to add inline citations using the <ref></ref> format.<<
I am honestly not quite sure what you mean in this instance. When I use these brackets, it gives a footnote-like tag - but my article has no direct references. I actually wrote it by using multiple sources, including the three I put in the article (of which one is a facsimile of the original, and therefore a primary reference), and a few others. If you like, much of my article derives from multiple sources: e.g: the dedication is mentioned in nearly all sources pertaining to this publication.
Perhaps my mistake was to put the heading Sources, where it should have been Further reading. What do you think?
Thanks and best wishes Nick Michael 14:56, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
[12] Really nice picture. I like it. :) Antandrus (talk) 18:37, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Thank you, you too. The semester had just ended and I came by here to see what was going on--and saw someone had just removed a media file on the Pachelbel page, which inspired me to record a new one, come back and start working on things again. Plus, this is really quite a pleasant and beneficial way to spend one's free time, is it not? I am impressed that you are still here and putting lots of time into the project. Kudos! -—Sesquialtera II (talk) 23:40, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Well done for removing the New Zealand movie linkspam so quickly! Ringbark 23:50, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Requesting reasoning behind the speedy delete and protection of Suicide Silence. The afore mentioned death metal band is a well-known band with a rapidly growing fanbase. --ARandomHeretic 07:36, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Dear Mak:
I just wanted to tell you that I just listened to some of your recordings and your voice is beautiful. I am glad that you decided to share some of your singing with us.
Also, Merry Christmas! (...or not, I don't know if you celebrate it, but the sentiment remains the same :) ) —Sesquialtera II (talk) 04:47, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Very weird. My great-grandmother knew your great-grandmother (or great-great), Aline in Stillwater, New Jersey. My ancestors built the house she lived in, named "Whitehall." I've recently been corresponding with Anne and Miriam (and they've passed my correspondence on to others in the Kilmer clan), trying to find out more about Aline's time in Stillwater. The recent correspondence has been inspiring me to get into some new Kilmer-related projects. I went to Rutgers--as is the tradition in my family--and my great-grandfather was there at the time before Joyce went off to Columbia. How'd you end up back with the Episcopalians when Joyce and Aline (and from what I gather a lot of the family is still) became Catholics? —ExplorerCDT 17:10, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
When you get the chance, I'd like to hear what you think of my revision of the Joyce Kilmer article. Still working on one section, but I've got most of the rest (85%) of the article done. —ExplorerCDT 17:41, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
That was where my list was going to go :-) I also think that I might try to produce spoken versions of the opera GAs, or at least the ones that are stable. Agrippina maybe not, as I have long-term designs for that article. It's with multimedia stuff like this that we can really score over Grove and Viking et al, which are all ultimately print-based. Hm. I think that one is doable. (Actually, I do believe I have read, in an article whose source is forgotten so I can't cite it, that the composer's intention was to have it sound like a struggle—that interpretation I can do. ;-)) Damn, now I have to go practice... This is spam?
etc. etc etc

How am I spamming?
Sorry about the lack of signature. I'm new at this.
I still don't get the spamming thing. A group of readers asked me to design a Wikipedia entry for this book. I am trying to make the entry a valid, complete article basing it off the structure of articles covering similar articles. I am not trying to infringe on Copyright, especially sine the author has been consulted in every aspect of this small project. I'm not trying to sell copies. I'm not trying to offend. I'm not trying to cause trouble. I'm not going around to other articles and users pasting "Read this article!!!" --Hoffa_Fett 01:06, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
You should not delete articles that have entered the copyvio resolution process. For instance, Cynthia Arden was so engaged and was listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2006 December 29. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 04:33, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your kind comment. However, due to the recent blanking of valid discussion and unreasonable behavior on the part of certain editors on the matter of fair use (I think you know what I am referring to), I find that my participation and comments are simply not valued here at all, up to the very highest levels. I cannot and will not continue to contribute to this project in such a climate, so add me to the list of formerly productive, hard-working contributors who have been driven away from Wikipedia by these actions over the past weeks. Good luck with your work. Badagnani 10:01, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
After 1 hour and 56 minutes as GA nominee, Joyce Kilmer was passed as a Good Article. This has to be a new WikiRecord. —ExplorerCDT 20:06, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
...to you! Hope you've had some fun, and quality time over the holidays. I'm still trying to get something worthwhile accomplished on Wikipedia before going back to work, but it's slow going. Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 22:19, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I have added them. Some quotations are translations from Italian made by me, so these must definitively be reviewed. They are indicated with "(in Italian)" in the notes section. Thanks.Luca priorelli 00:59, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh, that's just the 14-year-old kid whose article got deleted about the VHS movie he made with his buddies. He's already been banned under at least one other name (Woomoobs57 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log)), and I've gotten a few other attacks from his socks. If you want a laugh you might check out the content of the deleted article, which was AFD'ed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Factory: The Musical. It's about communists, orphans and ninjas among factory workers in 1840. 'Nuff said. Fan-1967 22:46, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Fyi, I sent the article to deletion review, asking that the delete decision be overturned. As the original nominator, your comments are appreciated. ~ trialsanderrors 22:11, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
After you took the page down for being advert, I made changes that I feel adjusted the page to address your problems with it. Later the page was taken down because a user did not feel that it asserted merit as an organization or company. Please view revisions at User:Sdkucera/360 Architecture.
A direct quote from the guidelines for Wikipedia's organizations and companies states, "Notable means "worthy of being noted" or "attracting notice". It is not synonymous with "fame" or "importance". Please consider notable and demonstrable effects on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education."
360 has built corporate headquarters for two Fortune 500 companies, and is currently the architect for two major league sports stadiums (one estimated at $500 million and the other estimated at over $1 billion) in addition to the other projects I have listed on the page. There are also links to multiple publications that have featured work of and done feature articles on 360 Architecture. I strongly believe this constitues "notable and demonstrable effects on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education" as listed in the guidelines.
Best Regards,

Ciao! i've moved again Gianmateo Asola to Giovanni Matteo Asola. Please don't revert it. Don't care if your English sources spell him that way: for the reasons I've tried to explain in the talk, or if it's mostly used in English countries. That English form is simply wrong, as nobody is called "Mateo" nor in Italy nor in Anglo-Saxon countries. Thus, if we are going to have accuracy here, we should get rid from errors, even if coming from (apparently) respectable sources. I think, for Italian stuff is better to consider Italian sources as more reliable, don't you agree? Bye and good work!!! --Attilios 09:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Absolutely! That's a great idea. The only thing I find baffling is that we don't have one already: appears that the ornaments article has some decently expanded descriptions of a very few, but I haven't found anything like a list elsewhere. As you know--as a singer--there are lots. Good work; we can use this. :) Antandrus (talk) 23:22, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Could you please undelete this article? She is notable by the fact that she has appeared in over 100 movies, as stated in WP:PORNBIO. This was clearly not a vanity article. Epbr123 16:59, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Do not vandalise user pages, as you did to mine, or I may report you. I'll describe the vandalism:
Want to know why you deleted RachelProtest.jpeg without discussion after four years of being in the article and mounds of discussion about that picture in particular. In fact, there are much more questionable photos used in the article that were not deleted, so my question is why was that image was singled out? As for reinstating the picture, it was, again four years ago, distributed by ISM (I believe without any restrictions, though it was a long time ago) and published in dozens of media outlets including AP and Reuters. I already uploaded a replacement given to me by the person who took the picture, and it was deleted as well, for reasons I don't know since the page is completely gone. What is going on here? Can you please explain what is wrong with linking to relevant commentaries in LearningTorah.org and why they were deleted? This is not spam but content directly relevant to each section of the Torah as listed. It is also in fact, exactly in keeping with the other similar commentaries that have also been created in the past for other such repositories of content.
For example - all of these pages:
Commentaries from the Jewish Theological Seminary Commentaries from the University of Judaism Torah Insights and Torah Tidbits from the Orthodox Union Commentaries and Family Shabbat Table Talk from the Union for Reform Judaism Commentaries from Reconstructionist Judaism Commentaries from Chabad-Lubavitch Commentaries from Torah.org Commentaries from Aish.com Commentaries from Shiur.com Commentaries from Torah from Dixie Commentary from Ohr Sameach Commentaries and Shabbat Table Talk from The Sephardic Institute
Thank you very much in advance.
--Torahorg 21:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Torah Org
Mak, I understand your concern and agree with you 100% about the SPAM. But in fact, this site is not a forum at all and the commentaries are coming from the best scholars who provide their articles and feedback about Torah issues exactly relevant for these sections. For example, you can look at the Category list or the Featured divrei Torah including Rabbis such as Berel Wein Parshas Devarim-Harsh Hugs. The reason there were so many links was simply because someone showed me the other day that there was a listing of commentaries on Wikipedia (as above) and it made perfect sense to add these links as well. I would ask you to reconsider your decision to delete the links. The content is relevant, some of the best scholars in the Torah world have there commentary in these links, and I believe it does meet the Wikipedia guidelines. --Torahorg 04:09, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
