Removing the content

Hello Meatsgains,

I am working on an article Iraj Maani. He was among the first Iranian team who stepped on Dhaulagiri successfully. Other Iranian climbers tried to summit the peak before but they were not successful. Maani along with Azim Gheychisaz and Mahmoud Hashemi. Unfortunately finding resources for climbing expedition is pretty challenging. but could you please let me know what was the issue to remove the content ?

Do we require a better source ?

Yes, a better source is needed. The source that was provided was a blog and does not note that he was the first Iranian to ascend. Hope this helps! Meatsgains (talk) 22:07, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

So what can I do to make sure this page does not get deleted. I worked for quite some time on it, and I don't want my work to go down the drain. Uncategorised and Improve Categories

Hallo, You removed ((uncat)) from Carol Hardin saying "(remove resolved tag)". Yes, it was no longer totally uncategorised - but the only categories, apart from the stub category, were Category:Living people and Category:Year of birth missing (living people). In a case like this, where there is clearly a need for more categories (eg something about horse-connected people), please add ((Improve categories)) (or ((CI)) to save typing), so that some categorisation enthusiast will still be attracted to improve the article. Alan Howard Page Updates

Dear Meatsgains,

I work for Alan Howard and have been looking at Alan Howard’s Wikipedia page. I noticed it needs a bit of updating, and I’m hoping you can help me with this.

The page says that Alan Howard is “a former director of the Conservative Friends of Israel”, but he was only an executive board member of CFI, and never a company director in the formal sense, as shown by the links below.

I'm torn - the article published in the Independent states, Howard "was a director of the Conservative Friends of Israel for some time – although he's no longer listed on its website" however, the Conservative Friends of Israel's website lists him as a Chairman of the Executive Board. The page also states that Alan Howard “serves on the New York Federal Reserve's investor advisory committee on financial markets and is one of a group of financial managers.” However, this is no longer the case and he is not listed on the NY Fed’s website as a member, as shown below.
