Hello, You recently tagged a new page I created, Marsh Hawk Press, as an orphan and then took it off a few minutes later. As I understand it an orphan page has no links to other articles in Wiki. This page had a load of links to articles in Wiki. Could you tell me why you put that in? I see that there are a lot of links on the page listed on your history, but as far as I know, those links were already there and are not listed on the actual article's history. Since I am relatively new to writing articles, used the template and can't find anything in the help section, could you explain the orphan tag and the process here? Thank you. @Ogmany: I added the orphan tag to the page because at the time, Marsh Hawk Press was in fact an orphan. I then used the find link tool to add wikilinks to Marsh Hawk Press on pages that mentioned the subject. Meatsgains^(talk) 17:20, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

I noticed you marked my article for deletion. The reason it lacks sources is that I was worried about including to many sources would make the article promotional. Not because the sources don't exist. I updated the article adding additional sources as well as additional info. If this is not enough please let me know for I have additional sources I can use but feel like using too many could make the article seem promotional. The article about Simon Moulijn was published in Dutch, German and English.

My problem at present is, that only in the english Wikipedia the number of footnotes is reviewed as to small. Before writing this article I have been looking at several articles in the english Wikipedia about artists and especially painters in the Netherlands. Naturally if you write about Vincent van Gogh you will be able to document nearly every footstep but at least any major changing in his attitudes by some source and often also from different sources. But if you write about Simon Moulijn, even although he was one of the outstanding Dutch artists of his time it will be difficult to find different sources for each step in his life. Naturally I can produce more footnotes if that seems to be necessary. But is a text "He was born" (footnote 1) brought up by his parents (footnote 2) started studying at the xy Academy (footnote 3) really more reliable and more scientific as a text were these three facts are in one footnote?? In fact all reliable sources about Simon Moulijn are in Dutch. This makes checking after the source more difficult.

I already have problems to document his friendship with the english lithographer John Copley, although they exchanged several lithographs. Because of this problem I did not mention it in the article even if it would be interesting for british readers.

In fact I do not see why the sources of the article remain unclear as the list of references I added is rather complete.

I will be very glad if you can help me with this. Thank you

Hello, I hope it's alright for me to take this question here. I recently created the article Nadja Abd el Farrag and I noticed that you removed mentions of her health. I'm not saying it was wrong, but I'm confused why you did this, as I've seen that type of information mentioned in other biographies (for example, Carrie Underwood's article mentions her ADHD and the fact that she takes medicine for it), which made me believe it was noteworthy.
