The shloka has been given as an example of the influence of atheist Hindu schools on Buddhism, also Hindus co-opted Buddha by making him an avatar, you are perhaps not aware of the supreme importance of caste in a Hindu's identity, (though it is changing now) one can never be just a Hindu there has always to be a caste, it is not just the 4 from 4 varnas there are hundreds of castes. Hi. I would like to suggest you read instructions a bit more carefully. You should not change well established categories with lifetime as you did here. Thanks, Magioladitis (talk) 20:27, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Please see the quotes and analysis I have added on the article talk page and add your comments, if you wish. There is always a chance that I missed out on the quotes that you were referring to (especially since two of the books I quoted have different publication years than the ones you gave) - if so, just add them to the talk page and we can discuss the issue further. Else, just be more careful that you don't end up misrepresenting sources when making edits in the future. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 18:06, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi Pectore. There are a few groups in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh who've been trying to revive the everyday use of Sanskrit. I'm not aware of a similar movement amongst Iyers, but I'm happy to be corrected if you can find sources to that effect. -- Arvind (talk) 11:34, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi Pictore, As you suggested please let me know how I can send you my observations regarding biasness. Do you think I should put those in your or NM talk page? Please suggest. Sparkume (talk) 13:48, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi, how do you know Abdul Wahid Khan and Tina Sugandh's religion. Hekerui (talk) 18:48, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

I came to your talk page to discuss this edit too. Ayyavazhi isn't a hoax, it exists and it genuinely still has a following in southern TN, particularly in non-urban Tirunelveli and Kanniyakumari. You'll see, for example, that it still crops up in reports in The Hindu. I don't disagree with its removal - because it is so regional, it's probably not sufficiently notable to merit inclusion in the template - but it's not a hoax. --Arvind (talk) 18:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Saw that you removed a closed AfD. A bot - wubbot - actually comes by a few times a day and removes the page and adds it to the archive of India related deletions. I'll revert your deletion for now, so that the bot'll add it to the archives when removing it. cheers. -SpacemanSpiffCalvin‡Hobbes 15:30, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello,
I added a mobile section to introduce new links for Bhagavad Gita applications that are available in mobile phones. A few of us have worked with other websites and customized the verses and audio contents for mobile phones as a free service.
I am new to wikipedia and went ahead and updated the section. Maybe it is not the correct thing to do. Is there anything I must do to introduce this section back to the wiki page ?
Hare Krishna.

Pectore,
Please note that two editors (User:Shreevatsa and User:Kanchanamala) have opposed your edits to the conversion section on Hinduism talk pages. This does not constitute consensus. I would encourage you to: 1) read through WP:CONS to get familiar with what consensus is on Wikipedia, 2) continue discussion on Hinduism talk pages using reliable sources on whether your edits to conversion section are legitimate, and 3) revert your changes for now from the conversion section of Hinduism article in order to avoid edit warring. Thanks for your contributions to the Hinduism article and I look forward to discussing the changes to conversion section further with you. You may wish to start by responding to the questions that I and others have raised. Finally, I can not stress this enough: on wikipedia we rely on what reliable sources say rather than our personal opinions and viewpoints while making changes.
Best Regards Desione (talk) 04:50, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Please note that your blind reverts on wikipedia Hinduism is against consensus and not based on reliable sources. Continuing to do so constitutes Edit Warring and Vandalism. Desione (talk) 04:17, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
