Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. Deletion discussion about Xilei Zhao[edit]

Hello Safetystuff, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Xilei Zhao, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Xilei Zhao.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with ((Re|Kj cheetham)). And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Speedy deletion of Mirosław J. Skibniewski[edit]

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Mirosław J. Skibniewski has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://cigos2019.sciencesconf.org/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, Safetystuff. Thank you for your work on Automation in Construction. Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

It seems reasonable that this page is short; readers are well-served by having academic journals with a presence on Wikipedia. I note that the references are primarily from Science Direct; strictly speaking, this is independent of the journal, but it is rather close to the source. It would be great to diversity the reference sources.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with ((Re|Klbrain)). Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
