Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please don't link common words - and don't link a country to a political party. PamD 23:08, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
Please stop making unnecessary and wrong links. In Armenian line dance you linked music, quite unnecessarily, and you linked "bounce" to Bounce music which is completely irrelevant and misleading. And this is not an isolated example. Please just stop trying to help by linking, as you are getting it wrong too often. You could read MOS:OVERLINK which tells you what not to link, starting with "Everyday words understood by most readers in context." - like the word "music". There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia but it is an interesting journey. Please try to learn about linking. Thanks. PamD 23:18, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lars Gyllensten, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Swedish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

Hello, SalmanZ. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for creating Mirta Acuña de Baravalle.
I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
The quotations currently used are too long, particularly the inclusion of the "Thought" section which has no encyclopedic commentary beyond the quote. Additionally, the sources cited in this article are insufficient to support the content, although I'm not concerned about notability as the Spanish-language article appears to be quite well sourced. Finally, the article needs to be rewritten to take a more neutral stance. I have no love for the Argentinian junta, but the description of the government in this article makes several unsourced claims using unnecessarily non-neutral language.

The article Arturo Carvajal Acuña has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the ((prod blp/dated)) tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Meszzy2 (talk) 05:50, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
Don't revert my edit again. Your comment does not belong in the section you originally placed it in, which is reserved for CUs, clerks, and administrators.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:51, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from United Nations Convention against Torture into Committee Against Torture (UN). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted ((copied)) template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:58, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello! I noticed that you have added a lot of flag icons to the page specified above. I am happy to help (you will have noticed I already have) if we can collaborate and get the task done much quicker. Are you fine for this to happen? Regards, Willbb234 (talk) 20:26, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello, I have started the long and tedious process of removing flagicons from the page and was looking for help. I realised the page couldn't just stay the half finished way it is so I do decided to start removing them per the discussions on the talk page. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give with removing them. Regards, Willbb234 (talk) 15:45, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello, SalmanZ,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Red Phoenix and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Luis Acevedo Andrade should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Luis Acevedo Andrade .
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with ((Re|Red Phoenix))
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Hi SalmanZ, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! qedk (t 愛 c) 21:28, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
I have received a grant from the WMF to develop this script into an extension. As a result, I do not plan on any further developments being made to the user script. Please see the grant page for more information. Those interested in reviewing and providing feedback for the extension should follow the new phabricator board, phabricator:tag/mediawiki-extensions-globalwatchlist.
Many thanks to those that have contributed translations for the script's messages. Now that I am working on an extension, translation has migrated to translatewiki. Please see:

Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started.
I do not plan on any further developments being made to the user script. I have released version 9.1.0 to both the dev and stable versions, which includes a notification about the extension being available when you use the user script. You can dismiss the notification, and the script still works, but it will no longer be maintained.
Those interested in providing feedback for the extension should use the phabricator board, phabricator:tag/mediawiki-extensions-globalwatchlist. Any bug reports about the extension should be filed there.
This will likely be the last update sent to this list.

Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension:
Hi everyone. As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant last year from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started.
That grant has ended, and I have requested another grant to continue development of the extension, and figured subscribers of the newsletter about the user script might be interested. You can see and comment on the grant request at m:Grants:Project/DannyS712/Continued work on GlobalWatchlist extension - if you support this, I hope you'll consider endorsing the request.

. JBW (talk) 21:52, 16 June 2023 (UTC)SalmanZ (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I'm being blocked because I "share interest in People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran" and a "large amount of low effort AFD !votes" with another user. This is complete nonsense. First, as far as I can remember I have never edited pages about People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. And if my contributions are not appreciated in AFD, then I won't do them, but this doesn't mean that I have/use other accounts! SalmanZ (talk) 12:40, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
On the one hand this is true ... you have never edited that page, nor is there any evidence you have edited any AfDs. So that makes me wonder ... where are you getting this from? Neither of these is mentioned on your talk page here, nor in the block message. Is it possible you might have gotten some information intended for another user (or, to put it less charitably, used the wrong account). — Daniel Case (talk) 06:38, 18 June 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the ((unblock)) template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Daniel Case: I don't understand. I was blocked because of this SPI against me, right? So what do you mean by "where are you getting this from?" --SalmanZ (talk) 21:40, 18 June 2023 (UTC)
But as I have said also on my talk page to that user, anyone who lets things stick in their craw that long probably can't work well with others anyway. The user who corrected me also notes, in the only discussion on my talk page currently (I had to archive it this morning) that they have their own reasons for believing you have been properly blocked. Daniel Case (talk) 05:18, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
SalmanZ (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Daniel Case denied my unblock request because of something that he says happened two years ago that's "still bothering" me, but I don't know what he means and he is not responding to my question about what he means. I was blocked because of sockpupetry on a shared interest with topic related to People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran but I have never edited this topic. SalmanZ (talk) 13:56, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Multiple editors have evaluated the edits between SalmanZ and MA Javadi, both here and on MA Javadi's talk page, and determined that they are either WP:SOCK or WP:MEAT. This will need to be addressed before an unblock request can be successful. Z1720 (talk) 17:50, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
