British Newspaper Archive[edit]

Hope you're feeling better. I noticed your excellent addition of heights to various player articles, which you sourced to a newspaper archive. I've recently gained access to the British Newspaper archive. Do you have any tips on finding articles like the one you found? Such as height data or little player bios and the like. Thanks, EchetusXe 17:48, 27 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Merry Christmas Struway2[edit]

On the 12th day of Christmas, my true love sent to me…

12 EFL Championship points,
11 players playing,
10 goals for Jutkiewicz,
9 substitutes a plenty,
8 drinks of beer,
7 swans will travel,
6 different goalscorers,
5 team changes,
4 focused defenders,
3 pairs of goalkeeping gloves,
2 home games in a row,
And a play-off place to go to the Premier League.

Thanks for continuing making Wikipedia a vandal-free place as well as regular updates on various past and present club player articles, plus have a good Christmas and new leap year. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 10:47, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Frank Womack[edit]

Hi Struway2, happy new year and hope all is well! I spotted something on an article which may come under your purview. The lead of Womack's article claims that he played 511 EFL games without scoring a goal, but the figures in the infobox add up to 510. I am not at home today so don't have my handy copy of Joyce to hand, do you have any sources that could shed any light? Either his Blues figure or his Torquay figure in the infobox is out by one or else the figure mentioned in the lead is out by one..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:49, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
