Hi ScarletTail. I see you undid the edits on the Indiana page (the mottos section). Would you consider leaving their shame apparent? After all, they are so public with it. Obviously, there are many who would oppose it. Should they not have the right to do it in this way? And may who would gladly wear their shame (and should they not do it in this way?) I do hope you have a wonderful night! And thanks for keeping an eye on things (and cleaning up internet graffiti).

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. As a participant of WikiProject LGBT studies, you are invited to participate in the third annual Wiki Loves Pride campaign, which runs through the month of June. The purpose of the campaign is to create and improve content related to LGBT culture and history. How can you help?
Looking for topics? The Tasks page, which you are welcome to update, offers some ideas and wanted articles.
This campaign is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group, an officially recognized affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation. The group's mission is to develop LGBT-related content across all Wikimedia projects, in all languages. Visit the affiliate's page at Meta-Wiki for more information, or follow Wikimedia LGBT+ on Facebook. Remember, Wiki Loves Pride is about creating and improving LGBT-related content at Wikimedia projects, and content should have a neutral point of view. One does not need to identify as LGBT or any other gender or sexual minority to participate. This campaign is about adding accurate, reliable information to Wikipedia, plain and simple, and all are welcome! If you have any questions, please leave a message on the campaign's talk page.
Thanks, and happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:48, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
Re: Brazos River Bottom. Great contribution to Wiki Loves Pride and WP's coverage of LGBT culture in Houston. Thanks for creating! ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:53, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Just a heads up! Here are a few more Houston-related stubs I created, in case any of them interest you: Eagle Houston, Meteor (Houston), Montrose Center, OutSmart, and Rich's Houston. I also created Wikipedia:Meetup/Houston/Wiki Loves Pride 2016 as a page for listing potential articles to create or improve, and new articles created as part of the Wiki Loves Pride campaign. This will be helpful for tracking progress of Houston's LGBT-related articles. Feel free to contribute to the page as you see fit. --Another Believer (Talk) 18:59, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
You have no idea how much I love that you expanded this article. Yes! ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:07, 29 June 2016 (UTC)

Dear TCMemoire, ![]() We've never communicated before but I chanced upon your user page today and felt concerned to learn that you were/are somewhat dispirited of late, to the extent of posting the ((Discouraged)) template. Well, please know that your efforts here at the Wiki are very much appreciated, and most definitely worthy of the present award. ![]() Although I am pleased to see that you've resumed contributing over the last few days, taking a break and doing something else you love will refresh your outlook and I hope that, before too long, you will reconnect with the feeling of enthusiasm that first brought you here as an editor. Then, with batteries recharged, you will be able to excel here once again, for the benefit of our many readers; I hope you'll come back soon! ![]() ![]() With kind regards; Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(guestbook) 00:07, 27 June 2016 (UTC) |
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited OutSmart, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Corpus Christi. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello! Your submission of Marriage of Billie Ert and Antonio Molina at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 19:06, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
On 30 July 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Marriage of Billie Ert and Antonio Molina, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Billie Ert and Antonio Molina, a drag queen and former football star, respectively, in 1972 became the first same-sex couple to be married in Texas? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Marriage of Billie Ert and Antonio Molina. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, ), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
