Var Posht (Persian: ورپشت)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Var Posht Rural District[4][b] of the Central District of Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,908 in 855 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,990 people in 971 households[7] and, the latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,759 people in 945 households. It is the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
