- Keep or Draftify Creating articles for each country participating in a major sports event is common practice as , see Japan at the 2022 Winter Olympics, Japan at the 2022 World Games, Category:2022 in Japanese sport... Technically the event starts later this month so you could draftify it but it a bit pedantic (you could draftify for at most 3-5 days and then the event will start & coverage will exist) Jumpytoo Talk 06:45, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- WP:CRYSTALBALL. The problem isn't that it's an article about a country in a sports event, the problem is the only thing the article confirms is that, in fact, Japan is going to said event; i.e. Wikipedia:ROUTINE. Industrial Insect (talk) 11:43, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- As I noted, the event hasn't started yet so you could draftify, but the event would start 3-5 days after an AfD closure so it would be WP:BURO to draftify it just to drag it back out like 5 days later when the coverage is created. Jumpytoo Talk 05:57, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- I can agree with draftifying the article, (that's probably what I should've done in the first place), but WP:BURO is not a reason to do whatever you want. It's still WP:TOOSOON for the article to exist outside of draftspace. WP:Usual caveats Industrial Insect (talk) 14:11, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep at this point. Could perhaps have been created as a draft, but a 2 week window isn't really that long. —siroχo 02:23, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Hello. Is this article still being in deletion? Or is there anything that can be done so that this article is no longer in the AfD? Thanine Schagerl (talk) 07:07, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete no evidence this article actually passes WP:GNG, and the same is likely true for most of the "X at the 2022 Asian Para Games" articles. This isn't the Paralympics, where most people competing are notable- here, almost everyone listed doesn't have an article, so we don't need an article that's basically just a list of non-notable people. Joseph2302 (talk) 08:14, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- I’m pretty certain we don’t apply notability to content within a list per WP:NLISTITEM, so the question here is whether there’s enough coverage to pass WP:GNG. S5A-0043Talk 13:53, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Well it doesn't pass WP:GNG anyway. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:35, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
