• Delete. Google News Archive shows that the term has been used for some time, but doesn't suggest that more than a dictionary definition could be written on the topic, while the list included in the current article seems to qualify as indiscriminate information. I'll admit to finding it entertaining, though. Incidentally, I think the teacher is only claiming to have invented a flashcard game based on the "internal synonyms" (my phrase), not to have discovered them himself. • Keep* I think someone coming across this term would want a definition and a fair few examples. I found it interesting myself. • Keep, this is recognized by "Ask Oxford"[1] and is in several wordplay/lexophilia books.
