Obvious POV issues aside, this is not a notable topic; "battles in which Sikhs were outnumbered" is not a topic that is discussed by independent, reliable sources. We already have List of battles involving the Sikh Empire and List of battles between Mughals and Sikhs, in addition to articles about the individual battles. This seems to be a WP:POVFORK part of a wider trend of Sikh history-related POV-pushing on Wikipedia. Lennart97 (talk) 02:49, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete per nom. Obviously, it is almost impossible for any actual battle between any opposing forces to have exactly the same number on both sides, so any group that has a history of involvement in battles will have a proportion in which they are outnumbered. It might be of interest to the encyclopedia to have an article on battles in which a particularly heavily outnumbered force prevailed, but not one with a specific group focus. - Delete: clearly fails WP:NLIST. Bondegezou (talk) 13:56, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. This is nationalistic pride rather than encyclopaedic information. We already have precedent not to have such categories (Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 March 25#Category:Wars France lost and Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2022 December 27#Category:Battles won by indigenous peoples of the Americas). We do not have any other articles on lists of battles won/lost except for List of battles won by indigenous peoples of the Americas which I think should be nominated next if this one goes through.
