- Keep and move to Killing of Samer Abu Daqqa. As an event it has clear notability, with the Committee to Protect Journalists having a dedicated piece on it and a ton of news articles about it. The rule for BLP/BIO1E is not to delete the entire article, but to focus it on the notable event, and there is a notable event here. nableezy - 16:45, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect to Haifa School airstrike for now. Though I am unsure if even that event is independently notable. Airstrikes and people dying are a pretty routine part of war. Alternatively delete. -Ad Orientem (talk) 17:09, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

- Unless you are under the impression that an air strike on a reporter is a routine event then WP:NOTNEWS simply does not apply. Unless you think we can not cover anything that has happened in the last month none of the others apply either. nableezy - 18:16, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- It warrants coverage but not its own article. It should be merged or redirected to 2023 Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip probably along with the Haifa School airstrike page. We don't make independent pages for every incident in wars. -Ad Orientem (talk) 18:25, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes that’s why we have articles for individual hostages, for individual shooting attacks by Palestinians, for basically any act of violence by a Palestinian. Widely covered acts by Israel that are credibly called war crimes however is where we draw the line apparently. nableezy - 18:59, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Fails at notability. e.g. fails WP:SUSTAINED. TaBaZzz (talk) 18:29, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
