Dear Wikipedians, I have single handedly wrote this because I've been studying about this organization and understanding them for some time now. If you google "The BrandLaureate" you are surely able to find many other supporting media, websites, etc that cover and speak about The BrandLaureate. In my proposed Wiki entry for The BrandLaureate, I've careful written the article in such that portrays what The BrandLaureate is about, what are they doing, what have they done, who have they dealt with and what is in the current pipeline of their notable works in the near future. This company not only recognizes souls that contribute to the world by awarding them, they do so much for CSR and Charity all in all and has a heavy weight title as an organization in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Australia, China, Thailand etc. I am trying to garner legit support from people who think that this should remain on Wikipedia and have its own space here. Keep Personally as the Author, I've studied this organization(for almost 2 years) and realize that they deserve a wiki space here. With their awards, contributions and social works to society around the world, they're notable and relevant to be on Wikipedia. Keep Where The BrandLaureate is concerned, we have to take into consideration that they are the only brands and branding foundation and they are a catalyst in their field. Besides championing the Awards and branding, The BrandLaureate is also giving back to the community with their active CSR programs. One of many notable programme can be dated back to November 2018 when they co-hosted the biggest charity run in Malaysia with the Onn Jaafar Institute. The notability guidelines require significant coverage of the subject by multiple reliable and independent sources. Such sources do not seem to exist for this subject, which is why it is not notable. I can't seem to re-edit anything after I have submitted for the final draft which has now lead to this deletion page. There is also a downfall that this organization has gone through and I would like to include that in the article as well. How can I do this? comment In an effort to avoid deletion, the sockpuppets have renamed the article from "The BrandLaureate Awards" to "The BrandLaureate". They copied and pasted the content of Draft:The BrandLaureate, rejected last week at Articles for Creation, thereby changing the focus of the page from the awards to the organization that gives them. It fails WP:NCORP. Churnalism is not the foundation for an encyclopedia article.

Given their past persistence in trying to raise the profile of the organization and its awards, and the likelihood that undeclared paid editors will continue to do so, I recommend salting the topics after deletion. --Worldbruce (talk) 15:22, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - Though this is an interesting case, I am voting delete. While there are a ton of sources that mention the awards (normally along the lines of "X wins/awarded BrandLaureate for Y), there is an exceeding lack of substantive, in-depth coverage about the awards themselves. The awards (and the organization that awards them) should not inherit undue notability from people/companies it has granted an award to. Combine this with the promotional intent of the article (WP:NOTADVOCACY), and I do not see the topic as suitable for Wikipedia. SamHolt6 (talk) 00:53, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
